Signs indicating this are placed clearly at the reception and throughout the property. While we understand smoking in bathrooms may be common in some countries, we kindly ask all guests to respect local laws and hotel policies while staying with us.In over three years of operation, this was the first time a guest smoked in our hotel lobby restroom—a shared public space—and even more concerning, discarded ash directly on the floor. This was a serious breach of both legal and hygiene standards, and our team had no choice but to address the matter accordingly.Refusal to Pay Fine:After confirming the violation, our team informed you of the THB 5,000 fine, as per Thai law and hotel policy. While you admitted to smoking, you declined to pay the fine and instead instructed us to keep the THB 3,000 deposit. Please understand that this amount was only partially deducted to cover part of the fine—less than what is required. We always prefer to resolve such matters cooperatively, but in cases where the guest refuses payment, this becomes the only recourse.Deposit Policy:The THB 3,000 collected at check-in is a refundable deposit, not a fee or hidden charge. This is a standard practice among many hotels, including luxury properties, some of which require even higher deposits.Most importantly, the deposit requirement is clearly stated on all our booking platforms, including Trip.com, so guests are fully informed before arrival. In the vast majority of cases, this deposit is returned in full. Deductions only occur in the rarest of circumstances when there is a confirmed violation of policy.Room Facilities and Bedding:Our rooms are equipped with international standard king-size beds (203 cm in length). While we understand comfort is subjective, this bed size is the largest standard used across global hotel brands.Hotel Location and AccessibilityOur hotel is located in a quiet, residential alley, providing guests with a peaceful environment away from the city’s noise. To enhance convenience, we offer a complimentary Tuk Tuk shuttle service to and from nearby BTS and MRT stations throughout the day, ensuring easy and safe access to key areas of Bangkok.We value guest feedback and constantly work to improve our service.
