A total nightmare experience for this hotel, definitely would be my first and last time here, horrible experience! On the day before Songkran festivial, I reached the hotel at around 1.30pm Thai local time, had approached the staff at the receptionist if there's a early check-in option, which a lady receptionist replied in a very rude way, told me to wait till 2pm for check-in, her behaviour might be due to being annoyed by a few other foreign visitors making a scene before I approached her, I took it with a pinch of salt, took a seat and waited till 2pm. I feel there is lack of professionalism in her job. When it reached 2pm, I approached her again for assistance of check-in, she again replied in a tone she was very willing to serve, by saying can you wait? The rooms are not ready. So I proceeded to wait for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I went back and approached her, she just completely ignored me. What kind of service are you trying to proof? So I went to the next available guy receptionist, whom I believed is also the manager, told me in a rude way also that due to high volume of customers checking-in, I might need to wait at least 2 hours. I was really pissed of by the lack of professionalism and attitude. After some time, done with the normal procedures for checking-in, the room I got has a weird smell, when I approached the cleaning staff, he told me it was totally fine, there was no issues. I went to the hotel lobby and look for the receptionist and explain about the issue, and if it's possible to change rooms, which was rejected. I felt so traumatized in just the first few hours in this hotel. While in the morning, around 11am, the cleaning staff will knocked on your door very loudly, which he will actually force open your door if there was no response, intruding privacy. Worst hotel experience ever. Totally spoilt the whole Songkran festival mood.
