I recently stayed at this hotel and had to check in early for which I was charged over ₹1800 for just a four-hour early check-in. Upon entering the room, I was immediately met with a stale, dusty odor. When I attempted to open the curtains, the entire curtain rod came down due to poor construction quality. Additionally, there are no windows that can be opened to let in fresh air.
The lack of room service options was also disappointing. I only wanted a cup of tea, but was informed that I would need to pay for the entire buffet to access it, which was only available at the dining area on the 6th floor.
One would expect a five-star rated hotel to go the extra mile to accommodate guests, especially in situations of urgency. I had an important exam scheduled at 8 am, so I requested breakfast be ready by 7:30 am. However, when I arrived at the dining area, nothing was prepared, and I was informed that even a cup of tea would take an additional half hour to be served.
To make matters worse, despite all these issues manager asked me to take my time and give five star rating at the time of check out..This stay didnot live upto 5 star standards in anyway.
