Swimming pool not as expected

The hotel has been here for many years. It still try’s to offer a good stay and service to guests. The building is showing it’s age in places. But that does not damper the staffs desire to provide the high level of efficient service Howard Johnson’s is known for.

The staff were nice but the rooms were not clean and there was a musty smell throughout the hotel. A little run down.

I stayed at HJ before in different countries and it was a good experience. This particular one had bed bugs in the first room I was put in. I took a video of it and showed to the help desk and they moved me another room
