"Kiinteistö oli täydellisesti sijoitettu helposti pääsylle Durbanin lentoasemalle/lentopaikalta (enintään 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä lähellä N2). Henkilöstö oli ystävällinen ja apullinen ja sisään-/ ulostulo oli helppo. Nieto (perus) uima-allas, joka oli tervetullut lämmin ja kova päivä. Perusruoka/juoma (snacks) oli saatavilla ja oli täysin hyväksyttävä meille. Se oli erittäin mukava kauttakulku pysäköinti ja olisi ilo jäädä uudelleen paikalle tästä syystä. Huomasimme vain muutamia pieniä kysymyksiä - vaikka teetä/kahvia oli saatavilla, huoneessa ei ollut vettä. Ilmastointi oli täysin toimiva, mutta kovettuva! Suosittelemme kaikkia edellä esitettyjä myönteisiä syitä ja oleskelu sopi hyvin vaatimuksiimme."

Initially had been denied the robes for the spa, allegedly bcz all the robes had gone for laundry but in the end they gave us robes..."

"What a beautiful and amazing French Victorian guest house this is! We were welcomed on 7 June with an extremely helpful young man that helped us park, find reception and helped us with our bags to our room. The lady at Reception is an absolute pleasure to deal with and very welcoming, polite and helpful. She really made our stay feel like home. We were mind blown by the beautiful and stunning honeymoon suite which had a massive dining and lounge area, huge sparkling clean shower and hug shoe bathtub. There is a sparkling clean pool right outside the suite door too, which made the view fantastic! Breakfast was a delight with staff wanting to help you all the way with whatever you need. Lots to choose from, eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, muffins, pastries, cereal, tea, coffee, juices and fruit. From the time we entered till we left, we were treated with such care and respect! I don't normally take time to write long reviews like this, but this beautiful B&B deserves more than 5 stars!! Thank you for a beautiful and welcoming stay! When we are in KZN again, we will definitely be visiting!"

"An unmatched oasis of serenity right on our doorstep! Absolutely incredible location on the beach with elevated Indian ocean views. Every single person has a smile, from Henk & Nico to Innocence and all the other staff. 5 star room experience, world class crisp Egyptian cotton bedding. Food - a culinary adventure and experience coupled with South African charm. The Spa setting, and the therapists are nothing short of world class! In closing, before booking your next Mauritius, Seychelles or Fiji holiday, rather spoil yourself 10 min from your home and be swept away by one of the most incredible venues I most certainly have had the pleasure of experiencing. Never before has the term "local is lekker" been more appropriate than Sala beach beach house."

"The hotel has a large balcony, but the balcony is connected to the next door, so you must close the doors and windows at night. The hotel does not have a hair dryer. The hotel is very old. It is a renovation of an old house. It has its own swimming pool and beach, but I don’t know how to get down to the beach."

"Our hosts were the best - nothing was too much.and we had a fantastic 7 days with them. The breakfasts were amazing in a very relaxed setting and the whole place is clean and organized with a lovely pool to cool off in. arguably the best beach on the North Coast is within 300m walking distance. the security at the guesthouse is very good and we felt safe and secure at all times. we will definitely be back to stay again. thank you for making us feel so welcome, see you soon. "We stayed in the penthouse. Amazing views and beautiful interiors. The hosts Charles and Jacque were very friendly and accommodating. From the homemade biscuits in the room to the lovely breakfasts with the most delicious muesli and fruit bakes and French toast, and the lovely gardens. It was the personal touches that made it such a lovely weekend away. This place is a real gem!"
