Beautiful stay, even if rooms are a bit dated compared to the main hotel area

The bed around swimming pools are not clean

I have led two yoga retreats at Soulshine. One in 2023 and this time in 2025. Both were completely magical experiences that went above and beyond my expectations. The team of people who have created and staff Soulshine are at the heart of its magic. Each and every person is kind and generous. They call their team, the guest happiness team, and that is exactly what they do.- they go above and beyond to make sure we had the happiest possible experience. The property itself is fabulous with plenty of spaces to be with others or find time alone. They have done an expert job of incorporating modern amenities in a natural setting. The food is not only fresh and tasty, but it is beautiful too. We took the cooking class on our first day there and learned about all of the fresh ingredients and the love that goes into all of the food they prepare. We were lucky to be there during Nyepi. The Ogoh Ogoh parade on the property was an experience I’ll never forget. The next day the staff respectfully honored the tradition of a day of silence and made sure we had what we needed to feel nourished and cared for. I chose to keep silence but they were gracious to those who wanted to enjoy a quiet but not totally silent experience at the pool or spa. As a yoga studio, owner and yoga retreat leader, I have lead programs for the past 15 years all over the world. The service and support provided by the Soulshine staff is unparalleled. They are ready to take care of all of the participants needs so that I can focus on delivering the best possible program. They expertly prepared the spaces and the activities and coordinate everything, communicating in detail along the way. I can’t say enough good things about this place and will definitely be back.

Soulshine is a perfect name for this resort as it truly makes your soul shine! I had never been to Bali before or been on a yoga retreat and I did both last month at Soulshine! If I could give it a 100-star review, I would; as every detail is attended to and you feel like you are their most important guest. I don’t know how they do it, but the personalized attention made me feel so welcome and instantly comfortable. The rooms are impeccable and every night the staff turn-down the sheets and dim the lights, so you return to a peaceful environment for sleep. Such a nice touch! The beds are very comfortable and high quality. The amenities are top notch with bath products (shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion) provided that had a gentle fragrance and worked well on my sensitive skin. The food is deliciously made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and each drink I ordered was presented as a work of art…beautiful and tasty! I was worried about mosquitos as it was rainy season when I arrived, but I really didn’t notice many on the property, so they most likely treat the grounds to protect guests. The overall property is just gorgeous and fun! They even have a gigantic waterslide for the pool area:-) The "guest happiness" team is also aptly named, and they exude happiness while ensuring your stay is everything you envisioned. They assist with any questions or planning needs. I went on several excursions that were vetted by the team, and they handled all the logistics. Highly recommend a session with the “Electric Lady” …still puzzled in the best way about that experience! As for the yoga retreat, I could write a book about how wonderfully soul enriching it was, but I will limit this review to the resort. If you are reading this and are currently on the fence about booking a stay at Soulshine…push that button and book it… you will not regret it!! I keep pinching myself a month afterward because the experience was truly a dream come true!!!

Life changing experience!!!! Amazing place, outstanding welcoming staff who quickly knew my name and treated me like family. Food was wonderful, fresh, healthy choices and great variety. Michael and Sara were amazing hands on caring hosts. I had several spa treatments and each one was all I could have asked for. Even though I hadn’t done yoga in years Gina’s yoga sessions were perfect! And the other guests were so friendly and loving I have never been around such a welcoming group of strangers who quickly became friends. I thought this would be a once in a lifetime trip, but I will go back. I miss Soulshine and all that I experienced. Holding onto the after glow!!!!

Soulshine is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. Beautiful property, amazingly kind, friendly and attentive staff. Great food. Great music, both dj and live. Attention to detail evident in every way. Spa is beautiful, organic garden on site. Take a walk on the path around the perimeter at sunrise and watch the sunset from the sky Shaka. Soulshine is truly magical. Can’t wait to visit again.
