Volcano Terrace Bali

Une bien mauvaise expérience ! Nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits deux chambres identiques avec open vue sur le lac et le volcan . Une seule correspondait à notre demande. La seconde, certes un peu plus grande , donnait directement sur un autre bâtiment et autorisait la vue lac et volcan par une fenêtre d'un mètre de large! Nous avons exprimé notre étonnement et face au desarroi du personnel d'accueil, nous avons demandé à parler au manager. Au bout dun quart d'heure, 20 mn, joint au téléphone, celui-ci sans me laisser parler m'a clairement dit " if you are not happy, just leave my place!! " ( si vous n'êtes pas contents, allez vous-en !!!) juste odieux !! Nous étions obligés de rester car nous avions prévu l'excursion au volcan le lendemain avec un d'part à 3h30 du matin. Après l'ascension, de retour à l'hôtel, nous avons essayé d'obtenir quelques conseils sur des balades et sur des restaurants à proximité. Le personnel de la réception, quoique très gentil comme tous a Bali, a été incapable de répondre ! Avec de surcroît une très mauvaise expression et compréhension de l' anglais. Incompétence absolue, sans aucun doute le fruit d'un management à l'image d'un manager brillant par son absence! Cerise sur le gâteau.. une centaine de mouches mortes jonchaient le sol des chambres à notre arrivée et aucune serviette dans la salle de bain sombre et nauséabonde ! Seul point positif : 2 tres belles piscines à débordement offrant une superbe vue sur volcan mais.. proposant 4 transats en tout et pour tout pour la dizaine de chambres ! Un hôtel plus que décevant à l'image de son manager. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits, et nous sommes rendus dans un endroit sublime à Jimbaran " la joya balangan " que nous recommandons sans aucune restriction.

This resort exceeded our expectations! Location is absolutely perfect, close to attractions and with incredible mountain views. Room and bathroom were very spacious, modern, and clean. The many pools available are so clean and warm. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious and with big portions. Stayed for 2 days and didn’t want to leave. Such a wonderful and comfortable stay. Staff member Nyoman was especially wonderful with her smiles and helpfulness.

Arriving there in the evening. We drove to Kintamani and google map directed us through small steep route with sharp turns that no other cars passed, with cliff on our left and right. So please choose the route right as supposedly there are other better decent routes that most car took. Parking is spacious although the entrance is a bit small, fit only for 1 big car. It seems that they only have approx. 10 villas so it is a quiet stay. The view of the villa is really best, even much better than the views of the hype cafes in kintamani that offered best views of Batur mountain. Our pictures are really like painting with clean skies, view of mountain, lake and pool like attached. It is 25 minutes to the hype cafes like el lago, montana and paper hills. Room is a modern set up with long windows overlooking mountain. There are rooms without window which is cheaper. Our ceiling is half finished, not yet painted. The room looks clean although there are lots of lizard droopings in cabinet drawers. Breakfast is provided but taste is not good. The area of Kintamani is surprisingly having lots of flies. Overall, it is a worthed stay to take pictures. For us, it is enough for a night stay.
