Bayshore Residence

Our second time at Bayshore in Residence 16! We just love the apartments with the private pool. Housekeeping done every day, drinking water topped up when needed. Comfortable beds and great showers. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, loved that they remembered us from our last visit. Food in the restarant was top notch ! Massages from the spa excellent and great value. So relaxing!

We stayed as a couple for 4nights in September 2022. We stayed 3 nights in Villa 1 right on the ocean in front of the pool, and this room had a large open plan bedroom, with lounge and dining table, plenty of room for a couple, bar fridge, with large ensuite separated by a door as the ensuite is partly open to the elements. Room cleaned daily with new towels and bottled water supplied. Great view of ocean and pool, with full block out curtains for privacy as needed. Villa 4 is a larger style villa with seperate lounge and dining area to the bedroom, second ensuite, and small kitchenette and second single bed in lounge area. Both spacious villas suitable for longer stays. Bayshore has great facilities including two pools, beachfront (although Candidasa lost most of its beachfront years ago and is now mostly concrete walls, but there is some black sand in front of Bayshore which is quite rare!). Also driver and transport to take you around Candidasa as required although the location allows you to walk and if you are happy to walk 20-30min each way then you can explore many restaurants and warungs. On-site restaurant provides good options for breakfast, and good basic mix of western and indo meals. On-site spa and laundry facilities also available. Some long term residents here as well because of the great location and facilities. Staff are great and Kadek was always available to take us on day tours and a highlight was Kadek taking us on a tour of his own traditional village, and a day trip to Amed for snorkelling. Would stay here again.
