LayDay was definitely a very fun hostel to be at! If you’re trying to party, look no further because this is the perfect place for that. The only problem I had was our AC being broken on the first night. Other than that everything was super awesome.

The LayDay Hostel in Uluwatu ist very beautiful Hostel especially the pool and bar area. It’s one if the cleanest Hostels I have been so far and the staff is really nice. Fuethermore it is a really social place and great to meet other people. It’s located in the center of Uluwatu and you can basically walk everywhere.

The hostel is great very Clean room & toilets and a good pool area which is busy in the day time also in walking distance of shops. I would say there aren’t enough sunbeds at the pool but it’s a bit space . I defo recommend this hostel for solo travellers

Amazing hostel, good vibes and great bar service. Would definitely stop again for a party time. The hostel is clean and well looked after and the staff are always there to help. The bar staff are great fun, get involved and are always happy to have fun with you

Don’t trust this people - they use your card to charge for whatever after you leave the hostel I stayed at Lay Day Uluwatu and two days after I left (with no bills open anymore) I was charged 144.500 IDR on my travel card with a manual entry.. after two weeks contacting the hostel and no explanation so far and also no return about my money, I am tired of trying - this is a big scam! I want my money back or an explanation of how you charged my card after I left!!!

Highly recommend: great location, great staff, very clean great pool/social area. I stayed here during my solo travels and found appreciated the social events put on by the team. Food and drink was also very reasonably priced and good quality.

Das System mit den Armbänder ist in fast jedem Hostel auf der ganzen Insel üblich und funktioniert eigentlich immer reibungslos, nur hier ist es wirklich extrem schlecht gemacht. Man kann das Armband nur mit 100.000 IDR in Bar aufladen. Damit konnte ich mich noch abfinden, ist allerdings schon nervig. Der 20% Voucher den man zum einchecken für das eigene Café im Hostel bekommt finde ich eine super Idee, als ich jedoch dann damit frühstücken war wurde mir der normale Preis abgezogen?! Ich hatte mein Armband mit 100.000 IDR aufgeladen und Essen für 55.000 IDR *mit 20% Voucher dann also für 41.000 IDR gekauft. Anschließend wollte ich mir einen Smoothie für 50.000 IDR holen. Dann hieß es allerdings, nicht mehr genug Geld auf dem Band. Nach mehrmaligem fragen und erklären meines Problems wurde ich letztlich weggeschickt. Die Leute an der Rezeption hatten zwar mein Problem verstanden aber meinten schließlich, dass man jetzt nichts mehr machen kann und es ihnen leid täte…. Abgesehen davon ist das WLAN hier wirklich nur in der Nähe der Rezeption/Bar akzeptabel und wenn man schon in anderen Party Hostels war, darf man hier nicht viel erwarten… Das einzige was ich sehr gut fand ist die Sauberkeit der Zimmer!

I like this hostel, but they charged an extra $300k for a room deposit i, which isn’t mentioned on the listing. I still like this hostel, but I’ll update my review to let you know if I received my deposit back when I check out. I just like to let everyone know, so they can know what to expect

This is my third time in this hotel. It was exceptional the first two times, but the management seems to have changed this time, as only Eric and Dewa Jack are good employees. I was framed for a small stain on my bed without my knowing it, and when I left I was told to pay $17 and the employee's behavior was not good. There is no activity in the hostel currently like before, so be careful not to let anyone frame you
