Nur Guest House by Purely

Affascinante sistemazione in Ubud; all'interno dei campi di riso. Camere e contesto in stile tipico balinese. Ogni alloggio ha i propri spazi ed autonomia rispetto agli altri.. Io ero ospite nella soluzione 'Villa Garden Deluxe', con camera e veranda molto ampia e bagno enorme con vasca e doccia. Bella piscina attrezzata con lettini, ideale per una rinfrescata dopo la giornata passata in paese o in escursioni. E' veramente uno spettacolo godersi i momenti di tranquillità sostando nella veranda o a bordo vasca. Durante il giorno e la notte si è immersi nella tranquilla natura, con i suoni di anatre, uccelli, rane, gechi, le carpe nell'acqua ed i profumi delle piante come il frangipane; la vegetazione è lussuriosa e colorata; il sole che sorge e che tramonta regala emozioni particolari. Le fotografie rispecchiano quello che ho trovato, così pure come la descrizione dei servizi. Si soggiorna quindi in una zona tranquilla e appartata: infatti è precluso il passaggio di autovetture. Possono passare solo pedoni e motociclette, garantendo la massima tranquillità e nello stesso tempo consentendo di raggiungere il trafficatissimo centro di Ubud in 10 minuti a piedi, lungo un percorso asfaltato e illuminato che serve anche, nelle immediate vicinanze, servizi di ristorazione, yoga, massaggi ...etc. Il personale dell'hotel si occupa, se richiesto, del trasporto dei bagagli dalla via principale alla struttura (circa 200 mt). Il titolare, sig. Nick si è dimostrato veramente cordiale nei nostri confronti e molto disponibile per informazioni e per soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Quando dovevamo fare escursioni al mattino presto, ci ha consentito sia di far colazione molto prima dell'orario previsto così pure come il check – out. La colazione viene servita presso l'adiacente Monkey Bar, con vista panoramica sul contesto circostante; in questo locale si può avere anche pranzo/cena con cucina anche balinese. Consiglio caldamente questa struttura: è un tre stelle ma offre molto di più; inoltre ha inoltre un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerei! Non ho notato situazioni negative: in qualsiasi caso di necessità (es: sostituzione ulteriore di asciugamani) è sufficiente rivolgersi alla reption.

Occorre fare circa 200 m a piedi per raggiungerlo, è situato su una stradina percorribile solo da Scooter (e non ne passano molti). Questo lo rende tranquillo e senza i rumori della città, il cui centro è a 10 minuti. Immerso nella campagna e circondato da risaie. Camere spaziose e pulite. Ottima posizione per i tour verso il centro e il mord dell'isola, e tra un tour e l'altro ci siamo goduti anche la.piscina. Personale disponibile e discreto. Accettano carte di credito, anche per pagare i driver.

The hotel is not reachable by car and you need to walk 10 minutes up the hill to reach it. In the hotel area are many steep steps and the walking path is very uneven. Inside the room it is VERY dark. BUT the surroundings in the rice fields are magnificent. The personnel is very friendly and the local food in the small restaurant is delicious. It is a small hotel, so very cosy and quiet. However, in the night you hear many frogs, gecko's and other animals, so take earplugs with you.

Bali This review is from 2020 buT never got submitted and was sitting here as a draft Having a last minute cruise change of plans in Singapore forced us to reevaluate our holiday and advance our stay in Bali by about 3 weeks. So, with a few hours notice before flights, we researched where to stay in Ubud from a choice of about 50 places Criteria.not on a busy street Not far from town center or activities, Pool Internet Breakfast included Surroundings. Well, we spent 5 days and exhausted ourselves of the things to do in that area, but it was still hard to leave. The pool area was so tranquil and the air was so still. 6 bungalows on a raised platform in what used to be rice fields, with nothing pretentious. Cost , approx $60 cdn. per day. Very tranquil, lovely young people looking after the place.spent 5 days there The Ubud place still requires a walk up a path if 3-5 minutes and the path is shared with scooters. But that is part of the ambience. They meet you at the bottom and put your luggage on scooters to bring them up. And, there are tons of these places much further up this dead end path. This is the second closest. We did walk much further up the path, 2 minutes away , a fabulous little lunch spot with 6 seats, or you can just buy a drink and keep walking. 4 minutes away was this gorgeous yoga studio on 2 levels in sort of a rainforest environment. My wife used it 3 days.Apparently all of Ubud is like this once you leave the main drag. Breakfasts were fabulous, and unlike so many other places, once you told them what you like or don’t like, they looked after it day after day. She looked at over 50 on line to come up with this. I was sad to leave I have a well respected driver (Bali Airport Transfer)we found on trip advisor whom I have engaged for airport pickup, for myself , my son, two others as well as a private car for an afternoon tour. The island has lousy road connections, only one highway just at airport junction so everything you will do will be in bad traffic zig zag across and up and down the island.

We are very happy to have stayed at Nur Guest House in Ubud. Situated up a short hill in Ubud, we were "off the beaten path" enough to escape the crowds and noise of the main street through town, but within easy walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. We loved the pool and the privacy of our teak interior cabin. We also loved the landscaping and the nearby view of small rice paddies being harvested by local farmers. The host Nick and his staff were wonderful and very helpful in arranging transportation. We loved the food and ate at their intimate and very reasonably priced restaurant for many of our meals. Nick is a worldly and warm person who was a pleasure to speak with. He kindly extended our stay because our plans were loose and we enjoyed Nur Guest House that much.

We stayed in Ubud for a few days and enjoyed the nice swimming pool and close by rice field of the guest house (including frog sounds at night:)). The bedroom was a bit dark (a lot of dark wood and little lighting), a bit more lighting would make a big difference for me personally. The fruit at breakfast unfortunately tasted of onions, probably someone cut onions with the same knife before. It can happen, but shouldn't occur regularly. All in all it was a nice place with a friendly host.
