Floating Leaf Eco Resort

Really wonderful oasis in the middle of rice fields, quiet, clean and beautiful with super-friendly staff, lovely rooms and delicious wellness food. I had a four-day private yoga retreat here, and the staff did everything to make it totally blissful.

This was the first retreat we hosted and our stay at the Floating Leaf was PHENOMINAL. The information package they provided made planning our retreat easy and exciting and the excursions included in bookings were fabulous. From a planning perspective, their responses and follow-ups were quick and thorough. We had 14 guests travelling from all over Canada and Australia and I thought coordinating airport transfers would be a massive headache. NOPE! Floating Leaf's team handled this and our guests arrived without a hiccup. Another planning tip is finding a venue with shared rooms but individual beds - this makes bookings more affordable for guests but it was so hard to find a shared room with separate beds. The Floating Leaf offers individual beds that can also be made into a king bed for couples sharing a room. Problem solved! The venue is a DREAM. Their yoga shala is beautiful and teaching there was a true privilege. It overlooks rice fields and our sunrise yoga was a magical way to start our days. Water features and soft music drowns out the noise of any traffic, but it's not overwhelming and you can hear still birds, etc. Lastly, the food. THE FOOD. Incredible. FIVE STARS! We had vegan guests, gluten-free guests, omnivores, and allergies. Our meals were incredible and everyone's needs were catered to and if you like wine with dinner or cocktail by the pool, they've got you covered. Reviews do not do this venue justice. The staff are so friendly and attentive to detail, drivers were accommodating and incredibly helpful. I would host a retreat here again in a heartbeat.

Wow, the staff are absolutely the best, not only attentive but also full of knowledge relating to the Balinese culture and customs. Floating Leaf location was beautiful, great views and away from the touristy bustle but only 5 minutes to great waves at Keramas! Scored waves and returned for a relaxing massage to soothe the post surf ache. Rice Patty walk was awesome, our group were the only tourists there, think acres of sprawling rice patties with a Mt Agung volcano backdrop, the kind of gem no one knows exists, pays to stay at a place like Floating Leaf where they know all the best places to go. Food was excellent, no burgers but at least there was Bintang.

Floating Leaf resort is so much more than I ever imagined! The aesthetic is pure bliss, food delicious, and the hospitality is second to none. It the perfect location to enjoy many beautiful temples, art villages, and simply relax. My special thanks to Gus for teaching so much about the beautiful Balinese culture; and Putu Maryam for the Nadi balancing sound healing session. She is a true healer and beautiful soul. The staff were extremely friendly, the spa treatments were amazing, the food was fresh and so healthy and delicious. The bed was super comfortable and overall our two week stay there, which actually was extended for another 4 days. The overall feel at Floating Leaf was so relaxing and peaceful and exactly what we needed.

A salt water pool makes us feel grounded, all while surrounded by nature.
