!!DO NOT STAY HERE!! Zero stars isn't an option unfortunately!! After having stayed 12 nights in various locations around Bali and the Gili islands this was our last stop to unwind and relax before heading back home, We chose this hotel as they sell themselves as a relaxed atmosphere with yoga classes etc and luxury accommodation, so of course this fit exactly what we were looking for. We booked the "Deluxe king suite" at a cost of just over 10million for 4 nights so we were expecting great things however from the start concerns started to appear. After exiting our taxi we were faced with a 10m+ gravel and stepping stone path way to the reception desk making it challenging to pull our suitcases up. After checking in we were given a brief tour of the grounds and when taken up to the yoga area there was substantial building works going on and we were then told there were no yoga classes despite this being advertised. We were then shown the way to our "Deluxe King suite" the route can only be described as an obstacal course and indeed quite dangerous, the route included a very precarious step down over a raised threshold and the first step was 2 feet below the peak of this threshold, very difficult for my 5'3" girlfriend, this was then followed by an open staircase with a very low ceiling and a narrow path to the room itself. Once in the room we settled in and our suitcases arrived 15 minutes later carried up by 2 of the staff, we immediately went out to the beach so didn't really have much chance to look around. When we returned from the beach we noticed that, although locked, the front door lock didn't actually latch into the other door and leaning on the door it popped straight open providing no security, inside the room the floor was crawling with ants and there were mosquitos flying around in every area, We noticed that the bathroom window didn't fit correctly and there was an 10mm gap from top to bottom and also the entrance into the walk in wardrobe area wasn't sealed either leaving gaps for ants mosquitos and any other insects to freely enter the sleeping area, including 1 very curious lizard which joined us one night!!! The wardrobe area itself isn't a closed space it has the top of 1 wall open to the outside! These issues were all communicated to a young gentlemen who seemed to run things in the evenings and it would seem he didn't understand our concerns as nothing was addressed. 2 nights later we had been out for the whole day and upon returning back we noticed that there was water running down the stairs up to our room, as we got closer we saw the water pouring out from under our front door and when inside were horrified to see our whole room was flooded, housekeeping had been in to service our room and had closed the sink plug and left the bathroom tap running, our suitcases were on the floor and some items were outside of the suitcases including blankets towels a collection of hats and very unfortunately both of our phone charge
