The public landing is just 1 mile from our dock. Birch Lake never disappoints with beautiful sunsets summer or winter. Within walking distance from our home is the beautiful Paul Bunyan State Trail, a multi-use recreational rail trail running between the cities of Brainerd and Bemidji. Named after the giant lumberjack Paul Bunyan of American folklore, the trail is the longest continuously paved trail in the United States.
