This spacious contemporary condo is bright, clean, sunny and cheerful with gorgeous ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and the large private balcony. You can relax while overlooking the promenade, the dunes, and the wide stretch of beach and ocean. While drinking our coffee in the morning, we watch the playful dolphins below as the sun rises over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. We bought a new king size bed for the primary bedroom and bought two new queen-sized beds for the second bedroom. So now the condo has a king-size bed in the primary bedroom, and two queen-size beds in the second bedroom, making enough room for 6 people to sleep comfortably. We also purchased two 90' sofas for the living room so if someone wants to sleep separately, they can sleep on one of the sofas in the living room. We purchased a new contemporary dining room set with six chairs. All beds have new comforter sets making the entire condo very clean and fresh.We have also purchased three new televisions, one for each bedroom and the living room. They have flat screens and hang on the walls, making for more spacious living.In addition to repainting the entire condo, we replaced the window treatments in the primary bedroom. They now have beautiful contemporary shutters.We have replaced the entire set of balcony door and windows across the front of the balcony and back into the primary bedroom. It had become faulty and now it is working beautifully and the glass windows and door are perfectly clear. The washer/dryer and the dishwasher in the kitchen have been replaced with new ones. The refrigerator has also been replaced.The hall bathroom and the kitchen have recently been renovated. New porcelain tile floors were added throughout the living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. We also opened up the kitchen by knocking out two walls giving a more open feel to the condo. We are excited about our new look. We renovated the primary bathroom also!We placed keyless locks on our outside door, making keyless entry possible. No more keys to return to the owner after your stay.We love the wide stretch of private beach for Sea Colony guests only. There are life guards on the beach in the summer. We have filled our beach locker in the first floor garage with beach chairs and toys which are available to you during your stay in our condo. It is much less crowded than the beach in town, and much much less crowded than Rehobeth or Ocean City beaches. Sea Colony has 24-hour security. A vacation in Sea Colony can run the gamut from beach fun to tax-free shopping to golfing, tennis and water sports. The privacy of the 'quiet resort' allows guests to sunbathe and enjoy the soothing ocean breezes in peace. Amusement parks and outlet shopping centers are not far and they provide more variety of family-friendly fun. This world-class resort tennis facility offers an astounding 34 courts along with tennis clinics, camps and lessons by teaching professionals. Golf courses nearby include two dozen courses featuring waterfront and forest layouts designed by Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. Sea Colony is the premier family beach and tennis resort community located in Bethany Beach, Delaware. We purchased this condo in 2019 and started listing it on VRBO in 2021. We manage this ourselves and not through a large management company. This is in the Island House building and offers stunning, unobstructed views of the ocean and beach from the living room and master bedroom. This is the last building in the complex and has the least crowded beach area. The 1/2 mile long private beach and multiple swimming pools are steps away from the elevator. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests. In 2022, we replaced all of the carpeting with luxury vinyl plank flooring, removed the wallpaper and painted the master bedroom and installed new closet doors in each bedroom. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and furniture which was purchased in 2020, flatscreen smart TV with xfinity, and private bathroom with tub and shower. The bathroom also has the washer/dryer there. The wallpaper in the room was removed and fully painted in 2022. This room offers beautiful views of the ocean - fall asleep to the sounds of the waves!The second bedroom has a queen size bed and smart flatscreen TV with xfinity. Both lamps have USB ports built right into them for easy charging. This room was freshly painted in 2020. The third bedroom has two twin size beds and a flatscreen TV with xfinity. The kitchen is spacious and stocked with plenty of items needed for cooking. It's a nice 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride. You will enjoy walking along the beach to town any time of the day. Try one of the excellent restaurants, stroll the boardwalk, and play mini-golf. Sample the best fudge around and enjoy beach treats to your heart's content. Maureen's Ice Cream Parlor is one of our favorites. Also, we post a list of recommended restaurants in the condo with our personal evaluation. The independent bookstore in town has great mysteries and lots of local authors. The bandstand on the boardwalk has entertainment throughout the summer. If you like to shop, there are lots of nice shops. It is a true family atmosphere.LOCAL ADVENTURES: For those who like to explore, Delaware Sea Shore State Park is 5 minutes to the south. If you keep south another 15 minutes, you will find Ocean City MD with a full array of vacation activities, attractions, dining and night life. If you head north about 25 minutes, you will find Rehoboth Beach which has a flavor of its own. The Rehoboth Outlets have unending shops with tax free purchasing for those who love to shop.Also the Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a great trip to the iconic Cape May New Jersey, but it is a full day's trip and you probably won't want to leave your perfect spot for that long.All-in-all, this is a marvelous vacation location!
