I can't recommend this hotel. There are a number of good points: helpful staff, attractive building, nice pool, convenient location. But the bad points are pretty strong and mostly have to do with the building itself. It looks nice, but has no noise insulation, so you hear both your neighbors and the busy road outside. I was wakened at 1 am by a truck downshifting on the curvy hill, and although that was the only one that woke me up, i was listening to them the whole time i was in the room. The room itself just isn't finished well. There's an overhead light with a bare bulb, a table lamp with a shade that doesn't fit, and the switch for the bathroom light is not only outside the door, but on the wrong side so you have to walk completely outside the bath to turn on the light you should have got on the way in. I realize these are not big issues. We finished our 2 night stay. The price is reasonable in an area where there are not many bargains. If this hotel meets your needs, come book. But don't bring high expectations.

Excellent stay

Wonderful hotel on a beautiful property A wonderful hotel located on a beautiful property right along the main highway. My wife and I only stayed the night as a stop over along our trip to the Osa, but we will definitely be back. This property is well worth a few days stay if you enjoy comfort surrounded by nature. We will most definitely be back!

This hotel should not be a hotel. People should not be spending money to stay in this horrible place because you will not be able to sleep. The noise level is horrendous. People walking on the room upstairs all night, and I mean all night. The reception area closed at 7:00 and n one to complain about the noise. The room smells dirty. The bathroom smells like urine. The towels are dirty. The AC makes a horrible noise. There was a DJ who played music until 12:00 am, and no one to complain.
