The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay – valokuvat

We stayed Nov at the 3rd floor back view and it was so hot specially in the morning time were the sun is facing the window. You cannot stand to stay in the room and bear the hot tempreture inside the room. And in the evening since you need to open the window to let cold wind circulate in the room but the downside you can hear the loud voice of other guest chatting until late hours. Even if they have reminders in the room about the silent time is from 10pm. I called the receptionist to complain but still they havent dont anything about it. I guess the hotel managment should consider installing aircondition since we all aware about the climate change. Its not that cold anymore in baguio considering its already November.

I needed to request for bath towels everyday. After cleaning they did not even replenish the towels & the water, it was also noisy since the rooms are facing the parking, if you close the windows it’ll be hot since there are no A/C’s

No aircon so it can get hot specially in the afternoon. Maybe it is okay in colder months but for summer and the month of june it was quite hot in the afternoon as there was no aircon and there was no breeze coming in. We were transferred to another room facing the room and somehow it was better as the breeze was coming in. The bathroom smelled bad though

Everything is good however airconditioning is not available in the room. When you open the window to let some air in, there are loud voices from other guests and insects entered the room.

Whenever we go to Baguio, we always stay at Forest Lodge. Why do we keep coming back? Because they will always make you feel at home. Sometimes unexpected situations come up and that’s the time you will actually witness what cuts this hotel above the rest. I was recently diagnosed with asthma and since I wasn’t aware of all my triggers, I didn’t know that the fumes and the delicious smell from the kitchen would worsen my condition. Our rooms were close to the kitchen and I kept coughing so hard that my husband called the nurse. The manager (Neil Dominic), the nurse and the bellboy came to my rescue. They transferred us to a different floor in just a few minutes. The nurse checked my oxygen and even bought me my prescribed meds from the drugstore to make me feel better. After that, I was getting well already and yet, the manager and the nurse kept checking on us. They also told us that there is a standby shuttle ready to take us to the nearest hospital anytime. They delivered service beyond my expectations in such a short time. Our whole family feels we are really safe and well-taken cared of whenever we are there. Because of this, I will always call Forest Lodge my home in Baguio. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay there this Jan 2024. We look forward to seeing you soon.

it took us quite long during check-in. Better not to book under ctrip. The rooms on Ctrip was under private party, not under forest lodge(it seems tgat forest lodge sold some rooms to private party). Hence, you have to collect room key from private party, all the services will only be provided by this private party. but there is no way for us to find this private party as the contact number left in our bookong details is the line of forest lodge, and the staff refused to entertain us as the room we booked via ctrip is privately owned and has nothing to do with them. After some negotiation, the hotel staff talked to the private party and gave us the room key. This is the most weird check-in i have experienced. after check-in, no tissue in the room, they said run out of stock, this is very funny, its your duty to make sure the room supplies are sufficent for customers. the service standard is below market standard....

We stayed at The Forest Lodge with our family and kids, and we had such a great time. The check-in process was fast, and the staff were very welcoming. The kids enjoyed running around and joined the doughnut decorating at the playground. The buffet breakfast was good, simple and with basic options. While it doesn’t have as many choices as Le Chef at The Manor, it still had everything we needed to start the day. The rooms were clean and spacious, perfect for our family. We always feel at home whenever we stay here. See you soon Forest Lodge!

The staff at The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay, Baguio City were exceptional. The restaurant was exquisite and the rooms were well kept. Loved the Christmas decor throughout the premises. Will definitely return to enjoy more of their hospitality.

Returning to The Forest Lodge felt like coming home! This was my fourth or fifth visit, and once again, the experience was nothing short of perfection. The moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by familiar faces and a warm welcome that made me feel truly valued as a repeat guest. The exceptional service I remembered from my previous stays was as impeccable as ever. The staff went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my visit. It’s clear that maintaining high standards of hospitality is a priority here. My room was as pristine and luxurious as I remembered, with thoughtful touches that made my stay special. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the room offered stunning views that I’ve come to look forward to. Gretel is very helpful during our stay. I highly recommend The Forest Lodge to anyone looking for an outstanding and consistently excellent experience. I’ll be back for my next stay, and I have no doubt it will be just as wonderful!
