My husband and I went for 2 nights; it was the perfect place to relax. Although it was raining, the place was super comfortable and great for disconnecting for a few days. The restaurant was excellent with a large variety of menu options. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back and recommend it to friends and family.

Echt een mooi en spannende lokatie omdat deze in het donker niet zo duidelijk te vinden is. Wel super personeel die heel vriendelijk is en ook vele goede tips geven over de verschillende dingen die er te doen zijn in de omgeving. Wil je actief zijn dan zijn er genoeg paden/bergen om te wandelen. Het hotel heeft mooie en goede kamers met lekkere bedden ook is er een goed zwembad met lekkere hangmatten om tot rust te komen. Ook lekker ontbijt en in het restaurant kun je 's avonds goed eten.

the hotel is in the middle of nature. the room was nice, spacious and clean. there is a comfortable hammock on the balcony and a beautiful view. the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the optional dinner was also very good. be sure to try the cocktails! we did both the ziplining offered by the hotel and the night hike and had a lot of fun on both. we felt very comfortable and would recommend the hotel at any time

Nice lodge placed indeed in the middle of nowhere. The roads towards the hotel are bad unfortunately, so drive slowly and you'll get there. Nice and helpful staff, rooms are spacious, clean, neat. Have aircon, ventilator, mini refrigerator (first hotel/ lodge on our travel through costa rica), television, chairs, hanging spaces for clothes, very good beds, nice bathroom with walk-in shower. On the balcony a big hammock and two rocking chairs and an amazing view. The rooms are siruated on a steep hill, so you have to walk 1-5 minutes on a paved but somewhat steep footpath to get to them from the restaurant and reception. Breakfast is good (buffet) and for lunch and dinner more than enough choices which tastes good too and also reasonable priced. There are quite some bugs outside so use an insect repellent. Nice trail to waterfall on the premises. Also horseback riding and nighttour available on the premises. The horses look good, due to lack of time we didn't book this activity.

Die Lodge liegt direkt in der Natur, die Bungalows sind auf dem ganze Areal verteilt, sehr sauber und gut eingeteilt und gemütlich. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass man in der Nähe des Restaurants ein Zimmer bekommt, da es dahinter zu den verschiedenen Häuser sehr steilt aufwärts geht und dies mit dem Koffer sehr beschwerlich ist., Es kann jedoch ein Kofferzustellservice in Anspruch für 1 Dollar genommen werden. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch das Abendesse. Sie bieten auch verschiedene Events an, wie Reiten, Nachtwanderung und am Seil angehängt über dem Dschungel, sehr zu empfehlen, ist wirklich ein Abenteuer.

Malgré un ensemble de chambres dans la nature, et des nids sur le parking de l’hôtel, j’ai trouvé ce lodge assez banal. Aucune vue dans la petite chambre que nous avions. Petit déjeuner avec des produits industriels, voire du jambon reconstitué. Je n’ai pas aimé. Mais le comble fut cette excursion de nuit, bien vendue par l’agent d’accueil. Elle a duré plus de 3 heures. Nous avons été équipés de guêtres anti serpent ( pour le folklore) et le guide ( qui ne parlait pas un mot d’anglais et ne communiquait donc pas du tout avec le groupe) n’a pu nous montrer après un coucher de soleil banal, que 2 oiseaux endormis, un serpent sur son tronc et des araignées. Le seul toucan était très haut dans un arbre, caché par les feuilles et presque invisible. Le retour s’est fait au pas de charge. Très décevant. Petite cerise sur le gâteau : le fameux guide qui cherchait sans succès les animaux à nous montrer etait le nettoyeur de la piscine. Tout s’explique.

Accueil remarquable ( sans omettre les cassique de Montezuma installés juste l ' entrée du lodge ) , personnel avenant , restaurant de bonne facture , petit-déjeuner copieux sous forme de buffet . Les chambres sont biens pensées , le site est guère éloigné du parc Rincon de la Vieja. Recommandé ! Bravo !

The room was clean and well decorated. We had a patio with a hammock and the main entrance had two chairs that we could sit outside. The landscaping was beautiful and you would see people taking pictures of the flowers or birds outside the restaurant area. The food was presented well and delicious. Friendly service too.

We just finished a two-day, two-night stay at Rinconcito Lodge, and we’re already feeling wistful that it had to end. The setting is majestic and the accommodations, pool and food were fantastic, but the calling card of this place are the adventure trips. We did the full-day trip with the amazing Walter, which featured ziplining, horseback riding, nature hiking (where we saw monkeys, toucans, an anteater and even a herd of wild pigs) and time in the hot springs, and our family of four (with girls age 28 and 26) agreed that it was one of our greatest days as a family. You come here to soak in the incomparable sights and sounds and to be exhilarated. Stay here and I promise that you will create memories to last a lifetime.
