My husband and I stayed at Chateau La Touanne while visiting France. We had a wonderful experience. The host was very welcoming and eager to share the history of his ancestral home. His wife served us a wonderful breakfast in the elegant chateau dining room. Our room was comfortable and very quiet and the bathroom was spacious. The grounds are beautiful and very private. We highly recommend a stay at Chateau LA Touanne.

We thought it was so cool to stay here. The castle/home is very well maintained. The hosts are also very nice and helpful. Nicolas recommended a driving route, which was great. The Chateau Chambord is definitely worth the visit. Breakfast was croissants, local jams, yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit. Just what you need. Ps... Loved the claw foot tub in the purple room

Great place to stay if you want to visit the Loire Valley châteaux. Our room was very large and clean. The chateau itself is full of history and memorabilia. The owners are very friendly and ready to help you to discover the region. No restaurant in the evening but very tasty breakfast. We were there at the beginning of September and we were cold so a word of warning make sure you have warm clothes with you!

Château plein de charme et de caractère, dans lequel on se sent bien. La décoration est raffinée, les matériaux sont de qualité, et les espaces extérieurs sont très bien entretenus. Le petit déjeuner est suffisamment varié et de qualité. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et savent aussi rester discrets. En somme, il s’agit d’un lieu exceptionnel que nous recommandons pour ceux qui veulent se déconnecter et, en même temps, être transportés dans un autre temps.

This is one of my favourite places to say. Nicholas and Christine d'Abboville are excellent and extremely charming hosts. They speak very good English. The chateau is beautifully decorated and the rooms are extremely comfortable (we have stayed in three of them). An excellent breakfast is provided.

Excellent accueil, l'hôte est au centre des préoccupations. Le couple propriétaire des très beaux lieux est suffisamment présent ( conseils de visites, histoire du lieu, anecdotes) et suffisamment à l écart pour permettre des moments partagés aux visiteurs. Magnifique parc, belle piscine ecologiquement arrêtée en octobre, un calme, un silence, le rêve pour le repos. Et un petit déjeuner digne des 5*. Nous reviendrons nous reposer, nous poser ici.

J’ai réservé au dernier moment, et suis arrivé dans une très jolie propriété. Accueilli par le propriétaire qui m’a indiqué qu’on pouvait aussi se promener dans le parc. Chambre et salle de bain comme neuves ou rénovées très récemment. On s’y sent bien. Très agréable séjour.
