The staff tried to charge me more money than what was stated in my reservation through *******. The staff would not even listen to me. The staff did not even want to see my receipt from *******. They just keep insisting I must pay more money. The receipt clearly stated the amount I was to pay directly to the hotel. The staff keep insisting I pay more than that. I had to leave the hotel and call *******, who agreed with me, so ******* then called the hotel and told them to stop demanding more money than what was agreed-upon through the reservation. ******* is very good in disclosing exactly what must be paid to the hotel and whether there might be additional charges. In this case had the staff listened to me or had the staff been willing to look at my receipt, they could’ve avoided causing me a lot of stress. In the end, ******* explained to me that the hotel had increased their rates without telling *******. The hotel finally agreed that I should not have to pay anything additional than what was stated on my agreed-upon reservation. But the staff was very rude by not listening and not looking at my receipt. The hotel is the one that works with ******* so they should’ve contacted ******* and worked it out instead of causing me stress and instead of demanding me to pay more than what was stated in my receipt for my reservation.
