Decepção O hotel é bonito, mas os banheiros dos quartos não tem porta , o que torna o uso do mesmo muito desagradável. A piscina não estava limpa nos 2 dias que estivemos hospedados. Além disso as cadeiras de sol ficam sempre cobertas por um tecido de proteção. Mesmo assim os poucos funcionários se desdobram para ajudar.

A hidden gem on the western most tip of Europe This place is magical... everything about it. The property, the smell of the cork, the rooms, the view, the design, the staff, the service, the food. If I could give more than 10/10 I would. Highly recommend.

Everything was magnificent! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Wonderful view to the beach. There were also plenty parking spaces.

Lugar remoto mas perto de Lisboa onde a vista é soberba e o ambiente é de enorme tranquilidade. Pequeno almoço fora da norma e divinal. Recomendo este Local tão tranquilo e acolhedor para desligar, descansar e desfrutar. Vale bem a pena para uma escapadela a dois.

When booking this hotel for a weekend break of peace and relaxation we were not advised of the building site directly next to the hotel. Having spent the covid years working in social care it was especially booked for the peaceful location, pool and views, we even upgraded our room to enjoy the outside space. The building site next door ran from early morning until early evening, the noise and disruption was all consuming and very loud, the dust and lack of privacy meant we could not use our outside space, the pool or eat breakfast outside and had to leave the hotel all day to get away from the construction site. The management did not respond to our issues with the stay, we were not offered a different room that was not directly next to the building site with the crane view and building workers from the window. *********** who offer this hotel still do not make any potential customers aware that there is building going on. We asked if we could keep our room until our later flight to change after going out for the day and were told it was already booked, in fact it was still available to book on the website. If we had stayed at a different time I'm sure the review would be different, however as the owners have no interest in the happiness of their guests, are not open and honest about what is currently going on before booking or even any interest in responding, it was a very expensive and much needed holiday ruined and I would not recommend staying here.

Enjoyed: -The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and professional. -Best scrambled eggs ever! -David’s warm greeting each day will be missed. To Improve: -The room is too dark, nearly all decor is brown; like living in a cave. Needed to switch a light on during the day otherwise too dark. Can introduce warm colours from nature into the room to brighten it up and paint some walls in lighter colours, like off white or soft sage. -There was no bathroom in our premium room (room 7). Free standing bath which we did not use. The shower is also open with a clear glass so no privacy. -Fixtures need some TLC, rust on soap holders and black mould on stone wall. -Towel rail is needed to hang wet towels as the heater rail not sufficient. -Toilet was smelling, think from poor drainage? -Outside terrace lights are left on by hotel until 2am which is wasteful and not nice as the light shines into the room through curtain. -More lunch options required. -In room coffee should not be charged. Sadly due to the geographic location this hotel’s views are blocked by the micro climate which brings plenty mist, fog and dampness.
