The caravan wasn't clean we had to report it to reception who sent other cleaners in to clean it again. Still we had to clean it and sweep it out ourselves. But the park itself was absolutely brilliant there is so much to do for kids of all ages. The kids entertainment was fantastic we had a 5yr old and a nearly 2yr and they both loved every bit of their stay and were sad to leave. The shops on site were a tad expensive for the usual holiday keepsakes.... but I would 💯 go back xx

Caravan was clean & Tidy really enjoyed ourselves while we stayed for the week. The only issues I have was phone signal (like there's signal blockers around the site) stopping people from using there phones the only WiFi is at the arcades which then involves spending money. The prices for things on site are scandalous I get it's a holiday park but come on just look in the stores. The last night we was there my sister decided to to get chopsticks the lady serving her was really snotty to her biting at her infront of the kids. I'm sorry but I had to walk away or I would have been threw off the site. The swimming was really fun it's what you make it really but some of the pools & slide were closed.

If you like caravan holidays this is definitely the place for you. Park has access to a beach and stagecoach buses actually come into the park if you want a visit Ayr. Has its own mini market too. Entertainment is optional, so is the swimming pool.

Absolutely 5 star. Cannot understand the negativity surrounding this park on trip advisor. We’ve visited Perran Sands, Little Sea and Devon Cliffs previously and this park has something up on each of them. Stayed in a Silver grade caravan (37 Grennan Village), the caravan is really modern, and was perfectly clean on arrival. Booked a table in the on site restaurant the first night, great food. The 2 for £20 offer (with kids eating for £1) is excellent value for quantity and quality. Staff have been so helpful with the two issues we’ve had, (hired pushchair not being in caravan on arrival and having a spatula or kitchen knife in the caravan), both resolved literally within 5 min upon reporting them. The facilities are simply excellent. The children’s play parks are brilliant. The arcade area and show bars are well maintained. The security and entertainment staff are simply fantastic. Indoor crazy golf and seaside squad build a bear were very much enjoyed by the little one. I can honestly say that Craig Tara is the best haven (and overall best after staying at various park holidays and park dean sites across the UK) I have visited. 5 stars isn’t enough. PLEASE PLEASE do not let the negative reviews put you of this well maintained and well managed park.

After reading all the negative reviews we were worried about our stay but honestly was no need too! By far the biggest and busiest Haven park we’ve stayed at. That said we found everything to be great. Okay so maybe the pool could do with an update, a lick of paint here and there but over all it was good! So busy and yes other people leave a mess but hundreds of people are using it and there was always a member of staff tidying and mopping! The van we stayed in was great! Clean, on a really quiet part near the beach. Loads for kids do, great outdoor/indoor play areas, lots of activities, great range for all ages. Food cannot complain, had food for all the places. All great, only a little longer than usual wait one night at brigs but it was super busy! We had Burger King, papa johns and chopstix, all good! Entertainment was great throughout the day, as was the arcades. We can’t fault it, there are some people who don’t care and leave mess and that can put a damper on for others but honestly we didn’t see that much. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely filthy dirty dishes left toilet work tops and floor filthy no passes no toilet roll no towels reception not got a clue and been complaining and only an apology they need undercover boss in that place it's a disgrace. Never be back.

Overcrowded dirty place with hardly any staff. Caravan was ok but no mattress protectors on the beds. Mattresses were stained. Caravans are not cleaned properly. Parkdean southerness in Dumfries is far better, much cleaner, more staff and just a more overall better experience. This is just my opinion

Stayed for a break during half term we stayed in rory village ideal location near facilities. Pool was good best to book early sessions as was quiet. The downside was queuing up for the club at 5.20 to get a good seat. Perhaps haven need to stop putting more caravans on site and upgrade the clubhouses so they can accommodate everyone. Most nights saw young couples with families without seats.

You have got to try Millie’s cookies if you go to Craig Tara. The pool next to Millie’s is ok I guess it’s just the changing rooms that is the worst part. Also if you’re getting a delivery, expect it to come late. Apart for that my experience was ok
