Hampton by Hilton Exeter Airport

The location to the hotel is good, but it is a bit of a walk to the airport. The shuttle at the time was temporarily closed. The bed was quite firm which made it difficult to sleep. The A/C light if not turned off stays on all night and is quite bright. The breakfast was very good and had lots of options. I’d stay here again.

Not recommended, the hotel needs major renovation. Carpets are worn mold everywhere In the bathroom . I had to leave the hotel same day

Dropped off by the prepaid taxi the night before my flight, go up to reception to find this another hotel closer to the public and only open for people coming to this country illegally and paid for by the tax payer ( at the Hilton) . As some of you may or may not know Exeter airport is miles from Exeter so on a Sunday night with my flight at 06:30 I had to arrange accommodation near by and two way taxi. Just a shame the hotel couldn’t have told me prior to turning up. I think all future flights and stays will go from Newquay who offer a similar service but no hotel which is the same as Exeter Airport now 2nd time of posting this as requested by Hilton not to post directly on there website reviews

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. Smiling, happy staff - and easy check in. My room was lovely - and quite the most comfy bed! I really enjoyed my evening meal (squid followed by a Jacket potato and LOTS of cheese) . I was staying at this hotel as it was nearest to the place where my best friends funeral was taking place. When we got back to the hotel, we asked it there was any way we could have coffees / teas for everyone. This was NO PROBLEM. Then, we asked if there was any way they could do sandwiches, chips, etc for all of us. And again... NO PROBLEM. I cannot praise this hotel enough.

This hotel cancelled our booking as it was closing its doors to the public in order to "resettle families from abroad". This has caused a lot of problems for the travelling British public and we were forced to find alternative accommodation at short notice.
