We travelled as a family of 4, two adults, two young children. Firstly, the resort is massive, something we knew before we booked, we had requested a ground floor room based on mine and my children's physical disabilities, blue badges had been sent to the hotel to indicate we had mobility difficulties. What they fail to tell you is that it's a 45 minutes journey from the airport to the hotel + an additional 1 hour for all the drop off's, the hotel is the other side of Ayia Napa, (be mindful when booking as it's a good 20 minutes in the taxi to get into Ayia Nappa town), so we were the last stop. In my haste to leave the coach i forgot my back pack leaving it in the over head compartment, it had everything in it, tablets, phones, charges, as soon as i realised i called Jet2. The next day after speaking to the Jet2 rep at the hotel she stated the bus driver couldn't find the back pack, they had looked twice and it wasn't there, i was furious knowing that we were the last ones off, i said i would go to the police, the bus driver looked again and low and behold found it! Be mindful not to leave items on the coach as there's a very good chance you wont get them back, not the best starts to a holiday! Anyway the hotel. We requested a ground room prior to travel, at the hotel they said we were on the first floor, i explained mine and my children's disabilities and was told they didn't have anything then but to come back in the morning, we did and still nothing, we were told again to come back the following morning, we did, and nothing again, i complained to the bookings manager who explained that due to high seasons they had nothing available, very disappointing, we were as far away from the main building and restaurant as you could be, we had to call a buggy most days to be taken to and from the main building/pool area then back to the room. We had met another family there who were in a ground floor room without requesting one so I'm unsure how they look at individuals with mobility difficulties, so be mindful of that. The room had an ant problem which i called daily about, staff would come to our room and spay a little then off they went till the next time. Poor sleep as could hear the cars going past the building (we were on the 1st floor parallel to the road) Food is awful, hardly any selection, tiny little area for yourselves, if you wanted anything from the snack bar by the reception you had to pay, a few of the restaurants you have to pay, all inclusive should be just that, all inclusive, you shouldn't have to pay for cakes, iced coffees and all the little treats you'd expect in a 5 star The restaurant located outside (forgot the name) had to be abandoned half way through due to the ants on our plates plus the hornets which decided to join us, not the best experience. Lots of cats, literally hundreds at this resort, there is an onsite shop we went to daily to buy wet and dry cat food, we spent most of the evenings feeding the cats
