Atlantica Sancta Napa Hotel

I was a little worried about going to this hotel after reading all the negative reviews about the sun lounger situation in a morning but it wasn’t at all what I expected I actually don’t think it’s a bad idea it stops all the ****** reserving loungers at 3/4 in the morning! No one was running or falling out. We got a spot right next to kids pool every morning. The Family room with partition was a good choice , very spacious but couldn’t do with little revamp it last starting to look little tired but our stay was comfortable , the bed was huge and comfy and if you stepped out the doors we were right at the side of the pool. So this didn’t put us off at all. The location for the hotel is great it’s quiet , close to the harbour yet not far away from the busier bars , fair and shops! We went to the Iimanaki restaurant most nights for drinks. The strawberry daiquiris are the best iv ever had and the kids loved the milkshakes and mocktails. We ate there one night too , the food was lovely but the portions are huge! 1 plate definitely could feed 2. The hotel food was great! Always hot and fresh , always lots of choice and they had different themes at lunch and in an evening. Iv been to lots of different hotels abroad 4 stars and 5 stars and the food at Santa Napa is one of the best we’ve had! The cocktails were nice but my hubby said the beer and soda drinks weren’t the best. We also ate at the Asian rooftop restaurant during our stay , the staff were great offered to take lots of photos for us and the food was amazing! We did a boat trip to the blue lagoon and also swam with turtles using a lovely family run company called deep blue cruises I would highly recommend them! The only downfall I’d say about the hotel is the size of the pool seems very small for the amount of guests it was quite crowded at times which I didn’t like and that kids can’t have inflatables in the pool.

Wow, this hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, hotel is very clean and rooms cleaned everyday! We came early in the morning and the reception staff was very efficient so we could get into our room and sleep, someone showed us to our room and provided a sandwich and some water. The cleaners made my little boy different animals each day using towels which was very cute! Food was lovely lots of choice and the sky light restaurant was absolutely fantastic! The staff work so hard in all places everyday and night and we really appreciate every one of them! Entertainment was brilliant! Gino is so friendly and got to know everyone’s name and he was so welcoming! We are definitely going to boom next year can’t express how much my holiday was fantastic because of this hotel. Thank you so much for the best experience! The boyd family.

Fantastic hotel. I can’t remember a hotel I’ve had better food at. The room was immaculately cleaned daily with fresh towels. The staff were extremely friendly, usually at hotels there is at least one grumpy staff member but they’re all so genuinely friendly that the culture from manager down must be excellent. We met lots of returning customers which is usually a good sign. Gym was small but had enough in it for me. Dino on the bar was brilliant, he never stopped working and had a smile and a chat for everyone, it feels unfair picking him out as they all worked so hard but he was our favourite. People moan about the sunbeds but if you’re up for 8am you easily get a bed, often you get one later in the day at anytime but not always “front row”. Although I rate this 5, if they could improve on anything it would be firstly to have a bigger main pool (maybe impossible on the landsize) as it did get busy in the middle of the day, busier than some I’ve been at, however you’re so close to the sea that it feels an invalid grumble. Secondly Gino was amazing on the entertainment team at getting everyone involved and keeping people updated with plans and making sure the evening entertainment ran smoothly, whenever he had a day off it felt a little lacking (MoMo was good when he came in for a couple of days). Alston entertainment repeats over 2 weeks, which some hotels also do but as we usually have 2 weeks away we like it when it is more varied across the two weeks. Oh and when you see the violinist advertised, try to find alternative entertainment elsewhere. He is very talented but 2 hours of violin bored us and judging by the fact the place emptied out quickly it wasn’t just us who were bored. I felt proud to have endured it. However, overall it is a brilliant hotel, great food and drink, great staff and lovely large and clean rooms.

We were a family of 4 with a 10 and 13 year old. After reading so many positive reviews on this hotel and only a few negatives I decided to book. I’m honestly baffled as to why there are so many positive reviews because I totally agree with nearly all the negative reviews. I’ll start with the positives : Gino entertained my 10 year and 13 year old every day for 2 weeks except for his days off. He was on the go all day and didn’t stop, my boys absolutely loved him. The 3 girls that work with him were all very polite but far too quiet to be entertainers. The evening program really needs looking at as there was only 1 evening really that I thoroughly enjoyed, I think it was called Mr& Mrs. The fire show was more like a laser show. We’ll always remember Gino with fond memories and often still talk about him. A favourite for the boys was the Superman afternoon jump. Louie the lifeguard was such a lovely friendly guy that ran a tight ship but he was fun, welcoming and we were really sad not to be able to say goodbye to him at the end of our holiday as he’d been sent to another hotel. Best lifeguard we’ve ever had. I don’t mind the bed war at 8am if it is manned properly how Louie does it but when the tattoo lifeguard takes over with his ear phones in he allows people to leave towels on the bed and then disappear for the day, which in my opinion is extremely unfair. Best food I have eaten in an all inclusive hotel although it did get a bit repetitive by the end of the 2 weeks. Also the best coffee as well and was nice to be able to help yourself all day from the machines. Location was perfect as close to the beach and within walking distance for a stroll into the town or harbor. Staff were always polite and helpful but I did feel some of the restaurant staff favored some of the customers more than others. Now for the negatives Whilst I like my children to be entertained I do like to be able to soak up the sun and relax knowing that they are well cared for and nearby to be able to keep popping back but it was not relaxing at all I spent nearly the whole of the 2 weeks with my loop ear plugs in because the music was just too loud for me. I walked past the adult pool several times a day to get to my room thinking how lovely and relaxing it was and always lots of beds free but I was unable to use it due to the children being under 16. One day I was suffering a really bad headache because of the boom boom from the music and I went and asked the tattoo lifeguard who was working at the adult pool if there was any chance I could spend the rest of the day there and explained I was really struggling with the music. It was Gino’s day off and the entertainment girls had put on this nightclub music that was boom boom boom it was like being in Ibiza ( even the barman asked for it to be turned down as he couldn’t hear to take the orders and he noticed I was struggling. But the tattoo lifeguard told me he couldn’t say yes because the children were under 16.

I am Currently staying at this hotel with my Family for a 10 days and we travel quite a lot. it’s first time I can say that all the staff at this hotel are making my holiday a happy one they genuinely are very polite, courteous, positive and professional Which makes a big impact on the memories. The food at the buffet is brilliant lots of variety meat, Vegetables, desserts, and Fruit there is something for everyone. The rooftop restaurant is amazing the view and food. The rooms are very modern and clean. They put a lot of effort into the night entertainment especially for the younger children. Overall I can’t find fault with the hotel, and would definitely come back again.
