My cousins and I had a lovely relaxing stay at Norfolk Motel in Awanui. We booked well in advance to attend a family gathering and Kim was most helpful and flexible with our bookings. We enjoyed the peace and quiet whilst being a five-minute stroll away from the cafe, Awanui Hotel and shops. The rooms were spacious for our needs and my cousins enjoyed the warmth on the rooms on a slightly cool night. Kim was available for any questions or concerns and I enjoyed our chit chats immensely! WE would not hesitate to rebook on any future family visits to Awanui and the Northen regions. Alan

Kim la manager est très accueillante, serviable et disponible. Les chambres du motel sont très propres, confortables et bien équipées. La région connaît des problèmes d’approvisionnement en eau, et cela se ressent pour la pression de la douche. Douche petite. Excellente base pour explorer le cape Reinga.

I would rate this place 10 out of 10. Kim is the most amazing host we have come across in a long time. She welcomed us when we arrived, asked us if we needed anything before our journeys and asked how our day was when we returned. The room was immaculate. It had everything we needed plus more. We were able to have a swim in the pool. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

We stayed two nights here as our daughter and grand daughter lived nearby in a small Cottage. Very nice setting, clean and comfortable. Close to the township and Enjoyed the warm greeting from our very helpful hostess.

I Stayed here for work on and off for a couple of weeks, every time I arrived I was welcomed with either a face to face greeting or a lovely text regarding which room I was in for my stay. Each time I stayed Kim was more than happy to help with any questions I had. The rooms where spotless with a lovely clean air freshener on every visit Highly recommended!

Staff were very attentive, rooms were very clean and well supplied with everything you need when away from home. It was a great safe location and Kim is a top notch host will definitely be returning again soon.

We booked here last minute during our Christmas/New Year travels. It was one of the best places we stayed and we actually ended up extending our stay by another 2 nights. The motel manager couldn't do enough for people - she was so friendly and accommodating. The campervan/camping area is quite small, as are the facilities but they were perfect and spotless, we didn't need much more. Thank you again, we would highly recommend.
