Manas Resort with Petting Zoo

We recently stayed at Manas Resort, Igatpuri, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The main highlight is undoubtedly the Petting Zoo, which operates for two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening. It is a delightful attraction for kids, and even adults will find themselves enjoying it without realizing how quickly time passes. The best part of our visit was the warm and friendly attitude of the staff — from the reception desk to the petting zoo team and the restaurant crew, everyone was welcoming and helpful. A special mention goes to Ankul Chauhan and Harish from the restaurant staff. They were extremely polite and attentive. Harish, in particular, recommended some excellent chicken dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The resort has two separate restaurants for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine. We dined only at the non-veg restaurant, where the food tasted good, although the beer options were limited. One thing to note is that food prices are on the higher side, so I recommend opting for an all-inclusive package (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) when booking online — it offers better value. The breakfast buffet was especially enjoyable, offering a good spread with a live dosa and omelette counter. The property also features two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, both well-maintained and enjoyable. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. The Flamingo Bar with its outdoor fountain-side seating has a fantastic ambiance, but currently, they only serve starters and drinks. Offering a full dinner service in this space would greatly enhance the guest experience. 2. Room service was disappointing. Despite repeated requests for basic necessities like tissue paper and for bellboys, no assistance was provided. Eventually, I had to personally go down and fetch a bellboy. 3. The room we stayed in was on the second floor, and there was no elevator. Unfortunately, my wife suffered a leg injury during the stay and had to manage stairs throughout. Installing an elevator is strongly recommended. 4. The washbasin tap in the room was difficult to operate, especially for children. A simpler and more user-friendly design would be appreciated. While the property has much to offer, the lack of basic room service significantly impacted our overall experience. I would deduct one star solely for this reason. With a few improvements, this resort could offer a truly exceptional stay.

Very nice rooms & nice service added by experiencing many pets & birds very closely Overall a very good stay

The resort is good with variety of pets howeve room service is not there, we ordered baby milk it came after an hour both the times and few pets are not friendly like macaw, they bit me in the fingers while I was holding them, in case some pet is not well or friendly they should not expose them to guests.

I visited Manas Resort with my family in March 2025, and overall, it was a mixed experience. One of the highlights was the petting zoo. My 2-year-old son absolutely loved it! The animals were very friendly, and the zoo provided a great interactive experience for the little ones. It was clear the animals are well taken care of, which made it even more enjoyable for us. The resort itself was decent. The facilities were nice, and the atmosphere was relaxing. However, the service left much to be desired. We ordered a refill of water, which never arrived despite waiting for over 12 hours. We even called the restaurant for paid water service, but that request was also ignored. The lack of response was quite disappointing. If the service were improved, this could be a fantastic place to stay, as the location and amenities have potential. I hope they work on their service quality because with a few adjustments, Manas Resort could become a top-notch destination for families.

The stay was amazing loved the hospitality. The petting zoo was awesome experience. Loved to play with the dogs and birds. Amazing infinity pool. The room view and the room was nice. The food was also delicious. I highly recommend this place for a couples retreat.

One of the best travel experience and the best part of this hotel it is it has a petting zoo I have never seen so well maintained resort ***** with the petting the rooms were clean the washrooms were clean bedsheets pillows everything was perfect the staff here is tremendous I will specially like to Mr Sudarshan Mr Caesar mr pecee they were amazing very kind polite helpful
