The Palms at Avoca

Our group enjoyed our stay in the villas. Everything was clean and neatly presented and appointed. The pools were C ok ean and the hot tub was a bonus. The only negative was having to pay for using the BBQ's...really? Given that you don't have any other choice, it's a bit rich. Even to cook sausages took two paid sessions. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful time, Villa was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. Would recommend a getaway here for couples young or old and for a family lots to keep the children busy . Staff very helpful will be back , hopefully very soon Kim

Upon arrival. The unit seemed clean. We unpacked and set about making dinner. The plates were filfy. Once washed We opened the oven to find it was a mess. A tray that was in it had fat on it and was extremely dirty. The toaster had crumbs in it and in the cupboard. We decided to do a thorough clean up tonight prior to heading off and upon pulling both lounges out from the wall to sweep, Rubbish was everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. ( For the record. We dont drink bottled water. ) This has not been cleaned for a long time it seems. I left it in the same state so you can see for yourself. Totally disappointed in our time here. For the money, I at least expected a clean place. I would get someone to check all units after it has been cleaned before you offer them out. You probably won't worry about my review but unfortunately I will never return here. Owners response: it appears that we put you in an unclean apartment by accident. I wish you had of let me know straight away I would have moved you. My cleaners are fantastic cleaners and very thorough so I. Sure this has been a simple mistake. I am happy to give you a discount if we have made a mistake but I would appreciate that you don't leave a review for something that could have been a mistake. How the hell can I tell you on the final night. The place is a joke.

Great place for families. Really good facilities, clean and well-stocked cabins that come with towels and linen. The staff were lovely and the whole place has a great holiday vibe. Our only gripe was that the pools were beautiful but freezing, even in April.

Horrible place, first and most important u feel like unwelcome , the staff are very unfriendly !! The pools are dirty, i had cut in my foot! The rubbish bins smells horrible The dust are so badly accumulated under bed, i was sneezing all night because i have dust allergy The game room looks 100 years old, it needs an update! The showers in the pools doesn’t work!! No hot water

Very clean, tidy and quiet location, but overall just a caravan park with outdated kids playground and permanent residential sites. The pool was large and maintained The villas were clean and comfortable with plenty of bird wildlife for feeding First impressions when arriving were slightly disappointed given it is basically mainly a permanent residential established caravan park with many old sites requiring attention and an up keep. Overall priced per night to suit a budget stay

the room was spacious and clean, the spa and pool area were fun for the kids. great location also with a quick drive to the local beach. It's great for families. we stayed with friends and booked a couple of cabins. good play park for the kids too! free wifi! and free DVDs for hire!
