Belle découverte que cette maison d’hôtes sur l’île de la Barthelasse. Les chambres spacieuses et calmes. Salle de bain très propre, petit déjeuner copieux. Piscine agréable et le plus un carport pour les voitures. Les propriétaires agréables. C’est un lieu où nous reviendront avec plaisir.

Beautiful villa located on the quiet island across from Avignon. We loved the villa and the pool and enjoyed our stay here. The villa rooms are beautiful with high end showers. It's a great location for a quiet countryside stay and strolls along country roads. We did have some issues with the villa - you can only use the laundry during certain hours, the wifi is very bad, and the hot water runs out fast and so some of the rooms don't get hot water if there are 9 of you at the villa. There is also a very lengthy checkin process for an hour while they take photos of every room/drawer and then there is a checkout process because they are very concerned that someone might take something. It is a hassle when you are tired from traveling. At $2000 a night (for the entire villa) it seemed like they could trust that their clients were not going to take a towel. The pricing was very expensive but it has been remodeled. The air conditioning doesn't really reach the top floor so that room gets hot but there is a breeze if you open the window. All in all the property is beautiful.

We loved our stay here. The entire place is impeccably decorated and it was a delight coming back here after a long day. The owners were incredibly helpful and we enjoyed an evening walk into Avignon (about an hour but a nice stroll) and were given details for a taxi company who easily collected us. Staying here was pure relaxation and having a glass of wine under the stars in the courtyard after a dip in the pool was a delight we shall definitely miss. Book directly for a better rate and for breakfast to be included. We will definitely be back.

Quel endroit agréable à proximité de la vieille ville sur une île champêtre! Tout y est pour notre confort même un charriot pour faciliter le transport des valises du stationnement au revêtement de petites pierres vers la maison. La propriétaire nous accueille gentiment en ce dimanche de Pâques. Très belle demeure rénovée il y a 7 ans. Chambre et salle de bain immenses (chambre La Maîtrise). Très bien aménagé autant le décor, l’ameublement et la literie. Il y a des vélos à notre disposition et aussi des livres, des parapluies si besoin est. Tout respire le calme et le charme de la Provence. La balade en vélo sur l’île nous permet de circuler près des vignes, vergers, chemin de halage et d’admirer le pont Bénarzet sur un autre angle. Bon petit déjeuner dans une salle ensoleillée ou sur la grande terrasse ombragée.
