Premier Inn Aviemore

En ce qui concerne l'hôtel, les chambres et la restauration sont de qualité inférieure par rapport à d'autres hôtels Premier Inn que nous avons pu faire mais concernant le stationnement, nous avions fait les démarches pour payer à la borne de stationnement. Celle-ci ne fonctionnait pas. Nous l'avons signaler à l'hôtesse d'accueil qui nous a dit que ce n'était pas grave comme nous logions dans l'hôtel. Du coup nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise, après notre retour, de devoir nous acquitté d'une contravention pour non-paiement du stationnement par le biais de notre agence de location de voiture. L'hôtel, contacté par mail, n'a pas répondu.

Since our last visit they now have electric charging points in the car park. You also need to register your car on arrival for free parking. It has the usual style of Premier inn rooms, which are comfortable. It was quiet even though we backed on to a railway line. There's limited speed Wi Fi ,and even more limited mobile reception, but that's the location. We sat in the car!! For ease we had dinner in their cafe which was good, and breakfast is more than adequate. There is an Italian restaurant opposite for evening meals or it's a short walk into town.

Great location, considerate staff, hence putting us in a bigger room so we could share with our tandem. Food good, nothing fancy but tasted good. The bed was lovely and comfy, especially after 53 hard miles cycling. Shower lovely and hot!!!

Friendly helpful staff, good room, quiet and clean. We slept well in a comfy bed. The breakfast was good. Lorraine, our helpful bar lady, was lovely and friendly. Downside: We had the meal deal. I had the curry but requested some plain yoghurt and some peas. Now, considering both were available (the peas were offered with the fish and chips and yoghurt was on the breakfast menu and I'd have paid extra) they refused me both with no explanation. That soured my experience. It just seemed niggardly to me, as well as illogical and annoying.

A great stay in Aviemore as usual. The three o’clock check-in would benefit customers if it was a little bit relaxed. We arrived 11 minutes before it and even though the room was ready we weren’t allowed to check-in. The highlight was dinner on Sunday night. Lorraine our waitress gave us great food recommendations and kept us entertained. She’s a real credit to your hotel.

Very hard bed and flat pillows. Hardly any channels on the television. Tired bathroom.in need of a good dust and hoover. Breakfast was very good. And evening meal was not bad. Not a lot of staff on. One lady was obviously new and wasn’t sure what she was doing at times.
