Eriskay B&B and Aviemore Glamping

In spite of the british weather we had a very pleasant stay, because we had this awesome breakfast, a comfy room and the most friendly hosts you could ever imagine. Great animals, great beer, great stories. Thanks for making this stay unique for us!

We hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf. De eigenaren geven je het gevoel dat je hun ‘special guest’ bent, dat doen ze slim. Modern sanitair, goede bedden, uitgebreid en prima ontbijt. Plezierig is ook de mooi ingerichte huiskamer waar je altijd terecht kunt. Absolute aanrader

Der Aufenthalt war einfach nur ein Traum. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt und wurden mit offenen Armen empfangen. Wir haben 2 Nächte im toll ausgestatteten Glamping Pod verbracht. Das Frühstück von Gill war unbeschreiblich. Danke Ken & Gill

From the moment we arrived at Eriskay, we were made to feel exceptionally welcome by Ken & Gill and knew the whole experience was going to be first class. They are clearly very passionate about their business, and it shows. Ken gave us the tour of the facilties, including the shared bothy area where you can prepare meals, sit at the dining table and even play a game of darts! We were staying in one of the glamping pods. It was so cosy with everything you need to feel comfortable and have a relaxing stay. The en suite wet room was a genius use of the space! There was also a lovely little space outside the pod where we were able to enjoy a coffee in the fresh air. We decided to opt for having breakfast at the accommodation and we were not disappointed. Gill's home cooked hot plates were the best meals we had while we were in Aviemore! Delicious food and friendly hosts made for a great start to our day. We also got to meet their umbrella cockatoo, and my personal highlight was Leyla, the adorable pug. We really couldn't fault anything. It was an excellent weekend - comfy and clean accommodation, great food, and the most welcoming hosts you could hope for. The accommodation itself is set back from the main road. It's really quiet and feels secluded, but it is only a five minute walk from the high street, with access to shops, bars, and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We are just home from a weekend in Aviemore and staying in one of Ken and Gill’s pods. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome and throughout the stay Ken and Gill could not do enough for us. As hosts, we could not fault them and we had a lovely time meeting them! The pods themselves were immaculate and kitted out with everything you may need. There is a communal bothy space for further utensils, microwave etc so anything you may need, you can access easily. Location wise, Eriskay is only a short 5 minute walk and you are back at restaurants, bars etc so is great. It is also a very quiet area so no disruptions or noise around. This made for a perfect balance between being close enough to get around but still getting some peace and quiet. Eriskay also offers breakfast, where anything you could want is available. For a very reasonable price, there is yogurt and fruits, bagels, toast, cereal, sweet treats as well as a hot plate of cooked breakfast. The breakfast again we couldn’t fault and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend a stay at Eriskay and definitely will be back on our next trip to Aviemore!

Brilliant wee place it was brilliant to stay in the wee hut. It was very charming, clean and cozy for myself and my better half. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs.
