The Park Guest House

Top class. Close to everything in the town, wonderful and helpful owner, and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. Great husband and wife team with hearty and fresh food. The chef even takes any food requests with a smile. Wonderful experience and service, certainly not my last visit! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stayed here for a family gathering, we were welcomed by a lovely lady called Helen who showed us to our rooms which have just been updated and all 3 of them were modern and spotlessly clean. Added bonus that they had their own fridge also. Beds were very comfortable. We ate at the onsite restaurant for breakfast both mornings and once in the evening for dinner. Staff were all very polite and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning, perfect location to explore Aviemore and walking distance to local shops and restaurants.

We had Room 1 which was just lovely and we were offered it as I have limited mobility. It was clean, we had fluffy towels and hot chocolate with caramel wafers. What’s not to like? The location is great, as it is a short walk to the centre of Aviemore and there are ample food places nearby. I heartily recommend The Park.

Beautiful bedroom, spotlessly clean and super comfy bed it's in a great location close to centre , i particularly liked the key code idea no key or cards to loose .Plenty space to park your car at back of guest house . we will most definitely be back 😀

We had to get away for a few days for personal reasons and couldn't have made a better choice. The Park was perfect. Lovely room with view of the snow topped hills behind the quaint church. The comfiest bed with feather duvet, great rainshower (just missing a shelf in the bathroom and bedroom to put your 'stuff'), plenty of parking. The friendly host was brilliant, very knowledgeable and informative. Delicious Scottish breakfast in the stylish breakfast room with the option of haggis (can't go to Scotland and not have haggis!) Just a couple of mins walk and you're in the village with shops (checkout upstairs at the hardware store, could have spent a fortune!) and excellent pubs and eating establishments. Great walks to suit everyone. Definitely recommend.

Overall we had a great stay at The Park Guest House. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of parking out the front. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself was nicely decorated and has a lovely wooden staircase. Also had a nice large open eating area. The road out the front can get a little noisy, but it wasn't bad. We still slept well. The breakfast pancake didn't have much flavour, but the fry up was brilliant. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom. It was very bare and uninspiring. Whilst this on it's own is not a problem, as it was clean, the shower was the biggest issue. The water pressure was terrible and our showers took 2-3 times longer than they should have done. They could really do with a centralised hot water pump to increase the pressure. Otherwise we had a great stay. Thanks!
