I had a great stay here. I’d best describe this place as ‘rooms over a pub’ there are quite a few rooms. It’s a nice, character building right across from the intercity bus station and very, very close to central Auckland shops & restaurants. Bedding was good and clean. Minimal but adequate amenities. No laundry, but a laundromat 1/2 a block away. I used this as a ‘home base’ in Auckland for prep on a long walk, for which it was a perfect low-cost single room with bathroom option . I plan to stay here again when I pass through Auckland. I attached a photo showing a bit of graffiti over the bed, gives a good idea about the patina of the spaces, but it was really nice and clean. The pub downstairs is also nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for clean, low-cost, no frills convenience!

위치가 좋아서 시티에서 지내기는 좋았으나 시설이 조금 오래된것 같고 엘리베이터가 없어서 힘들었음. 직원들은 친절했음^^

Great location. Hotel reception is only open specific hours. We were able to store our luggage there. There is no elevator. Luckily there was someone who carried our luggage upstairs.

Though the overall property and condition of the hotel could be improved, the staff were very friendly and ready to assist at all times.

Le gérant qui nous a accueilli au bar situé au RDC de l'hôtel était sympa. Mais le logement n'était absolument pas propre (des traces de mains noires au mur, la baignoire sale, la poussière sur les meubles et la moquette toute tâchée, même les lits étaient sales...). De plus, nous n'avions aucune fenêtre dans la chambre, ce qui n'était absolument pas mentionné lors de la réservation ! L'hôtel est bien situé.

Dont stay there Had to stay at the top floor which had no elevator, stairs were hard to walk up couldn’t find entrance had to go to the bar room was cold tape was running couldnt stop it, it was terrible

Don’t stay here Dirty and stinky. We had to air out the room for hours. It looked like it had not been rented for a while and the surfaces were dusty. The sheets seemed clean but the bathroom floor was dirty as well as the toilet and there was soap all over the shower area. The facilities are old and falling apart. The doors and walls are thin and we couldn’t sleep because we heard the other guests arguing, coming and going in the middle of the night, and other things… for the price a disappointment. Checkout time is 10 which is fairly early, especially if you don’t get a good night’s sleep. The hotel is basically a sports bar. Don’t stay here! For the price, you can find something better.

Expected noise but didn't expect smoke Great location but old. Our room had a door that opened into the fire stairs and for some reason cigarette smoke could be smelt in the room. Even on a wednesday night the music pumped past 1.00am. Toilet made random gurgling noises throughout the night. Soundproofing could be improved.
