Monks Barn Farm - Self Catering Cottage

A beautiful site with spacious well maintained pitches and superb views. The owner was the perfect host, providing us with all the info we needed for our stay. We were thrilled to see the newborn lambs during our stay and there was an abundance of wildlife. The site made a perfect base for visiting nearby Stratford and a number of National Trust properties. When you find a place like this, you need to go back again. And I'm sure we will!

Thank you Karen & Adrian for hosting our regimental rally, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you on the rally field. The field was well manicured, peaceful and well suited for our gathering of 19 units. The closeness of the farm to Stratford & Clifford Chambers (walking distance through public foot path) is a delight. We cannot fault this campsite and committee willing we will be back.

Had a lovely stay here for a few nights. Very friendly welcome and pitch on hardstanding away from the A3400. It is very much a working farm, but seeing the horses and sheep in the nearby fields was lovely. The walk to Clifford Chambers only takes around 15 minutes which means the pub isn't too far away! The site is a mile from a long-stay car park (+ Waitrose and a Costa) that is itself only a 15-20 minute walk into Stratford along a quiet cycle path. There are only a couple of toilets and one shower on site (which are very clean btw), but you may need your onboard facilities at busier times. Would certainly recommend it as a base to explore Stratford and the surrounding area.

We stayed in Dairy Cottage, self catering. It had everything we needed including a small dishwasher. The location is ideal for visiting Stratford upon Avon, being only a short drive away. If you like a more rural retreat with beautiful views of the local countryside, then this is ideal. It is dog friendly and the owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We shall certainly return.

I wouldn’t come here again even if you paid me, the woman who owns it is absolutely crazy, screams & shouts at people she is extremely rude & dismissing to your needs. I’d strongly suggest you avoid this place at all costs.

Amazing place so close to everything Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds has to offer but also the peace and space to have the most relaxing holiday. Stayed in Dairy Cottage cannot fault anything. Thank you for the best break ever.
