Days Inn by Wyndham Ashland

No soap in the hotel, holes in the curtains, carpet so filthy my socks were black. I didn't walk on the carpet that much. The vinyl was wore off the chair arms. The wood frame underneath the chair cushion was nasty. Tub was stained. 1 mattress had a buckle in the middle. On positive note, ai slept fine & my mattress was ok. Mattress had bug protective covers on it. Then mattress had quilted mattress protector on. Hotel is definitely a 1 night stay hotel & needs carpets cleaned ASAP.

NASTIEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN --BAR NONE! Being unfamiliar with Ashland I reserved a room here based on the recommendation of a clerk in a hotel that was too far from my destination. I spent over $100 for these ghetto accommodations, unaware of what I had reserved. Of course it was non refundable. With this knd of a garbage room I can see now they do that so you're stuck. If it had been a "bargain" $40 or $50 room I'd be taking responsbility for making a bad "cheap" choice and wouldn't be writing this review. It's the kind of room people tease about renting "by the hour" and they could care less how bad it is. "NON-SMOKING" room, but it reaked of smoke so badly one could hardly take a deep breath. I checked in and as I was quickly leaving to meet family, I told the clerk how terribly strong the smell of smoke was and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. She replied that all of the rooms were non-smoking and I could ask for some "spray" when I returned to the hotel. Filthy, torn, old carpet, huge spider on the wall, drapes falling down, (had to pin with paper clips) sticky film on floor, dusty, dirty furniture, long dark hairs in the bathroom; I dared not take off my shoes to walk on the carpet or tile. Unless you don't mind staying in abject filth, I suggest you stay as far away from this place as you can get. When I left the following morning I noticed a Fairfield Inn not too far away. Had I known it was there you can bet I wouldn't have reserved a room in this dump. BEYOND HORRIBLE!

Room was very clean quiet this is a no smoking hotel which was nice slept great breakfast ok but needed more variety staff was very friendly and helpful I didn’t have a reservation checked in after 940 pm no problem easy to find plenty of parking

From the moment I pulled up to the property I could feel the trashiness. As soon as I opened the lobby doors, I was hit with stale cigarette smoke and another, unnamed stench. Musty, moldy, humid, dirty. Strange men sitting around drinking beer. Strange men in the hallway by my room, sitting on the floor with speakerphone on loud, talking in a foreign language very loudly outside my door for HOURS. Dank and mildewy room with no towels. Very smelly and damp. Refrigerator didn't work. Tv didn't work. Electrical outlet which housed above mentioned refrigerator and TV was pulled out of the wall and dangling by the wires. When even the tv didn't work, the attendant thankfully gave me another room. I was grateful to at least be away from the strange men sitting on the hallway floors. 2nd room did not smell as bad, but still had a stale cigarette smell, even though the hotel was posted throughout as non smoking. There was a hair in my sheets and a giant hole in the shower. The toilet was broken and dirty and didn't flush properly. There was years of filth built up on the floorboards and around the bathroom. Black mold clung to the ceiling above the shower. I am glad I survived my stay at the roach motel that calls itself a Days Inn by Wyndam in Ashland KY. I thank God I never have to go back there again!!!

The beds were GREAT! I slept so well. The front desk people were friendly, the room was clean. My only complaint was the lack of food at breakfast. Three hot containers and only 1 had food in it…And the coffee was So weak. But the price was good, soooo

The hotel is very outdated. It has no elevator. The rooms are old and smell musky. The staff was great!

The rooms were nasty ..had to request that the room be cleaned when I rrealized the sheets and pillows had food on themBathroom had hair in the floor very unkept

This is one of the nastiest hotels I have ever stayed at. It used to be very well maintained, but now it is a dump. The toilet is dirty , the shower is dirty. Whoever currently owns this facility needs to upgrade everything. Your Satilite TV is not working either. Why are you still using Dish ?

I highly recommend the Days Inn by Wyndham Ashland. You will find very reasonable rates with impeccable service from a very caring staff. You won't go wrong staying there. My only issue was that the exercise room was down when we were there. Great place to stay if you are in the Ashland area needing overnight lodging. Very reasonable rates, conveniently located, and top of the line hospitality from the staff.
