Tamara Ashkelon Hotel

Bad and old hotel which doesn’t deserve the amount which asked per per night

I've stayed at this Leonardo many times and am currently on 7-week business trip here. The hotel meets all of my requirements for business travel. The rooms are clean and have a comfortable bed and a useful work desk. The internet connection works well and the room lighting is satisfactory for my work. The hotel dining is very good and I enjoy having both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The hotel staff and dining staff are professional and work hard to attend to any issues that could arise. My room offers a good view of the surrounding beach and seafront area and the street. The room temperature control is satisfactory. The room heating is very good. Like many Israeli hotels the room air conditioning is the central type and is activated until later in the spring. However, the room provides sliding doors to a terrance that allows the sea breeze to cool the room should this be necessary. The 9th floor lobby carpeting is a bit worn and is scheduled for replacement. This does not impact my stay in any manner. The elevators provide quick service but will be a bit slower on the weekends when vacationing families arrive. I plan to continue using this hotel for my future business trips to the Ashkelon area. My thanks to Aviva, Keren, Yael and all of the hotel staff for making my stay an enjoyable one.

great place to stay for families ou vacation as great the staff was wonderfull especially dimri and Aviva - they cared of everything in order to make our stay pleasant
