I've stayed at the hotel 3x now. First stay was good, second not great, this one a little worse. Wood on some of the furniture is worn. Some of it looks cheap, and uncared for - not kept up or taken care of. The bar area is nice. Live music sometimes, which is nice/unique/cool. Restaurant is nice too, and has potential, but the breakfast service is terrible. This stay, you had several waiters, each with about 3 tables, and everything was slow. Service was slow...table next to me was a guy and his daughter. They were low on water and asked for some more water - a good waiter would have noticed this before the table asked for more (about 10 minutes later they finally got water, after asking for it again). I waited around 10 minutes for someone to actually come to my table...another 10 to order....food took around 15 more minutes (ordered breakfast with 2 eggs...since I cook them almost everyday I know how much 2 scrambled eggs are....they gave me one). On a positive note, the fruit was good. And waited another 10-15 minutes after eating for the bill - which I had to get up and ask someone for. Last time I stayed at the hotel and had breakfast, the waitress was in the corner by the bar doing nothing when my order was ready...talking or texting, can't remember. I could see my food was done...just sitting there on the counter top getting cold. So after a few minutes I just walked over and got the food myself. It downpoured rain the night I stayed recently. I wanted to walk outside and asked if there were any umbrellas. None in the bin. Hand sanitizer machine out of sanitizer. No toothpaste (forgot mine). Seemingly no way to get ice other than ask for it way down in the restaurant. The little touches that would make a very nice hotel great are not here at this hotel. Hilton is losing. Hyatt is a far superior brand. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to others, and I don't think I'll ever stay there again.
