Travelodge Arundel Fontwell

I have stayed at the Arundel Fontwell Travelodge a couple of times now, and would say it is the best one I’ve been to….and I’ve stayed in a few! All staff are helpful and friendly and would definitely recommend a stay if you’re in the area. 👍🏻😊

Our first time staying in a travelodge. It was ok, the bed was comfy, the pillows weren't so good, really hard. One of the beds hadn't been made up so I had to go and get bedding for it. Then later we had to go and get more towels as there were only 2 despite the room being booked for 2 adults and 2 children. The room looked clean when we first went in, but then later on, we found a sock on the floor from a previous occupier behind the bathroom door, so although the bathroom looked clean, it clearly hadn't been done properly. The staff were all lovely and friendly and very helpful. Plenty of Tea, coffee , sugar and milk at reception and you can take as much as you need.

We had such a great stay. Seth and Dulce were really helpful- I didn’t expect that level of customer service at a Travelodge but maybe I’m used to rude staff in London! The family room was a really decent size, and it was nice and quiet. Great stay!

We are at this Travelodge nearly every other weekend after travelling from Cornwall to see our Son who is in School in Sussex. We CANNOT say enough GOOD THINGS about particularly DOLCE BEADSHAW who is the Manager at this Travelodge. She is INCREDIBLY KIND, she always remembers us all by name, she seems to always be working 😂 and always has a smile and cheerful word for everyone there. Any small problems (because the rooms are ALWAYS as you would wish them to be; clean, smelling nice etc) are dealt with super quickly and in fact Staff (and Dolce in particular) go out of their way to ensure that your experience with them is the best it can be. Extra fans, duvets or pillows are never a problem and are bought promptly. The rooms always look and smell lovely and we've never once (having stayed here roughly twice a month for the last four years!) had an issue necessitating a room change! I cannot stress how solicitous Dolce is and how VERY MUCH we appreciate her. After a journey ranging anywhere from FIVE to EIGHT hours in the car, her lovely, smiling face is one we very much look forward to! I sincerely hope that her hard work is recognised, she deserves it more than anyone I know!

We regularly stay here with our dogs and always get a warm welcome. The rooms are always clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is good and there is a KFC and Burger King next door as well as a Waitrose shop at the petrol station. If you do need anything the staff are very helpful. We will be back soon.
