Nestled at the foot of Taos Mountain off the Valdez Rim Road, Stella Luna, our 1500 square foot, two bedroom, two bath home sits on a quiet lane. It's just 15 mins from the slopes of Taos Ski Valley, 15 mins from the Town of Taos & Taos Plaza, and 5 mins from the charming village of Arroyo Seco. Extraordinary views in all directions, high ceilings throughout, large windows, and a floor plan that offers both open space and privacy come together to create a home that graciously welcomes you back after a day of skiing, sightseeing, or shopping. In fact, if you're like us, you might never want to leave Stella Luna at all! Our lovely home offers a spacious, master suite with a King bed, attached office/nursery, TV/DVD, a Jacuzzi bath, and walk-in closet & dressing area. The second bedroom, conveniently separated from the master by the common living space, comes with a queen bed & double futon, TV/DVD, and an amazing view of Taos Mtn. While the house can comfortably sleep four adults, it can easily accommodate two more on the sleeper sofa in the living room. A cozy fire in the kiva fireplace will warm your bones while you dine or relax in the comfortable living area. Being travelers, cooks, and foodies ourselves, Stella Luna provides you with a well-equipped kitchen and a home tastefully decorated with furnishings, art and objects from near and far. A selection of movies, books, and games will help you unwind from your life in the real world. To soothe those aching limbs and enjoy our spectacular New Mexico skies, there's a hot tub on the back deck; from the SW facing portal you get views of the Truchas, El Pedernal (a leitmotif of Georgia O'Keeffe), sunsets, and the neighbor’s grazing cows. We love children and they're welcome at Stella Luna. We'll work with you to provide you the amenities you need. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and the amenities the host provided. We loved the kiva fireplace and the abundant piñon wood supply. The views during the day and sunsets each evening were spectacular.

This home is so warm and welcoming. I felt held the entire time I was there. From wonderful warm, lighting to all of the types of furniture you could need including sofa, kitchen table, dining room table, and everything I think you could need in the kitchen. To having such comfortable and soft bedding in the master bedroom. A wonderful soaking tub, a hot tub, covered patio out back, including a full length lawn chair to lay out and look at the stars at night and a fire pit with chairs out front. Beautiful 360 views for sunsets and mountains. It’s just absolutely stunning. And when I arrived in the evening, I was met by two large mule deer. What a wonderful greeting. The drive is maybe 10 minutes from town. So secluded and quiet and serene and I would absolutely rent again. The house was very accommodating and I really enjoyed my stay. I strongly recommend The Stella Luna. She will take care of you.

Everything was perfect!Communication with the host was very easy, and quick response time. We used the hot tub every evening. Temperature was good. Kitchen had all that we needed and more. A nice touch were snacks , wine, and flowers left for us.The views from all the windows and the outdoor seating areas were amazing!!The hikes we came to do were within an easy drive.And the bed in the master bedroom was just what we needed after all our hard hikes.I would definitely recommend this home, and I would love to stay here again in the future.

Everything was perfect at this property! We met our granddaughter & her husband here for a 3 night stay. We loved the property so much we stayed in every night & played games. The host left fresh bread, wine, chips & salsa & fruit. The kids enjoyed the hot tub & we enjoyed the views & sunsets. We all hope to return to this beautiful haven.

Taos Respite Perfect location for all things recreationally Taos; great hospitality and spotless property; all kitchen essentials provided; although it lists ac in amenities, there were only fans and open windows to keep it cool; not too much of a problem, but it would have been nice to have on the hot afternoons; admit to being surprised about the check in procedure where we were met by a host representative at the property and shown around; that was a first for Vrbo experiences for us; overall great experience and would stay here again if ever back in the area

Home base for work and adventure We spent a fabulous week at the house, doing a combo of WFH and adventuring around Taos. House was super comfortable, views were spectacular, so nice just to sit out in the hot tub and watch the stars come out / hear the crickets start up. Very grateful places like this exist.
