Arrow Mill- Brunning and Price

We always visit the Arrow Mill when we meet some friends from Oxford as it’s a great halfway point for both of us. We’ve always found the service to be attentive and enjoyed dining in a lovely cozy rural setting. Our waitress today catered fabulously for our party of 7, she was very friendly and was particularly accommodating of my grandad who wanted his fish without batter and with mash instead of chips, all of which was no problem for the team and grandad thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The only slight disappointment was that the menu felt a bit limited, which resulted in most of us ordering fish and chips (which was delicious, but I was hoping for more variety). I wish they’d put the chicken pappardelle pasta in creamy sauce back on the menu more often!! Overall, we’ll certainly be revisiting for our next meet up but hope for a more varied menu next time.

Beautiful surroundings and lovely bar & restaurant area. Some of our dishes were lovely but really not to the standard you would expect. The biggest downfall is the service. Started with the gentleman greeting us who was really just rude. The service after that didn't get any better. Constantly had to call staff over for drinks, food etc. There were a lot of staff on and not many customers. Really was a shame as it ruined our visit.

I rang at the beginning of the week to book a table for a birthday meal for a friend on Saturday and when we got there they said they hadn't got a table booked for us! So instead of a table overlooking the pool like I had booked we got put in the bar. We ordered starters and I had a prawn cocktail and had to ask for something to eat it with. Then when it came to the bill they had added a service charge but said you don't have to pay it if you don't want to but you had to ask for it to be taken off! Having said that the food was ok, I've had better but I've also had a darn sight worse.

What a lovely stay we had at Arrow Mill. I booked last minute as we were attending the Game Fair which was being held right on the doorstep at Ragley Hall. The staff were helpful, friendly and very accommodating, they couldn't do enough for us. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our room. Our classic King room was lovely and clean with modern facilities and a nice big bathroom with double size shower. Toiletries, fluffy towels and slippers were provided. The bed was comfy which led to a good night's sleep! It did get quite hot in the room however we were provided with a Dyson fan which was a nice touch. We ate dinner in the restaurant, food was nicely presented and cooked really well, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was also very good with a nice selection to choose from. Again, the staff couldn't do enough for us. All in all, I'm really glad I managed to get a booking at this hotel and we'll be booking again for next year!

Lovely area around building and car park. Great food, great rooms, would definitely stay again

Room is very clean, lots of space and bathroom was very nice , shower was clean no issues in the room at all. The food is very good quality and a reasonable price and breakfast is great. Would go there again if we need to book another night.
