We asked if our room could be cleaned as it was very dusty, but she responded aggressively, saying we should have informed them upon arrival. Her tone made us feel as though we were asking for a free stay rather than a standard service, and she came across as quite rude. Aside from this incident, the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was nice"

The hotel offers great, spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms with a very nice view; staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive; the hotel is situated in a great location to go skiing, for a walk and to reach all places in Arosa on foot; the restaurant Twist offers a great selection of dishes with and really excellent service; and everything is also very children friendly."

"For the third time in a row, we spent the New Year's holiday as a family at the Sunstar Hotel Arosa. And this time too, all I can say is: simply great! Of course, skiing is the main focus for us and the children at this time of year. In this hotel, the ski school is included free of charge, which is of course a huge plus from a purely financial point of view with 2 children, and it's also not so tragic if the children don't feel like it and want to do something else. Because there are so many things you can do as a family here, like great walks around the lake in the center, the squirrel path - and of course the many options within the hotel, which are great for children. Well-heated swimming pool, bowling alley, and the absolute highlight is a huge games room, which becomes a general meeting place for the children, especially in the evenings. Yes, you could say that the 24 hours in a day are often barely enough for the children to do everything they want, and every evening the kids fall into bed totally tired and content. And lo and behold, during this holiday we didn't miss the iPad, which we hadn't even brought with us. However, I would also like to stress that the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the meals, the abundance of the morning buffet, the evening entertainment over the New Year and the hotel's infrastructure in general offer everything you could wish for. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Sunstar team for the wonderful time and we wish the long-standing directors Rolf & Philomena Bucher all the best for their future endeavours!! With its peaceful location, this has been a further chance to recharge our batteries and enjoy the enthusiasm of our daughters on the slopes. The hotel staff has been impeccable and their atention to the guests' satisfaction has been remarkable (as for the last time): there is nothign better than feeling like at home while being aay from home. Wheter at breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food offer is always of high quality and with plenty of choices. We feel very comfortable in highly recommend this hotel!"
