A truly beautiful place with beautiful hosts. Amazingly well and newly refubished Maison with beautiful rooms. Totally stylish with carefully chosen pieces which make you feel at home immediately on arrival. Pierrick and Filipe are super welcoming and wonderful hosts. They helped guide us around the many Arts Exhibitions in Arles, booked us a wonderful restaurant. Not to forget the beautiful breakfast. If you are heading to Arles to enjoy and experience some photography, art or ancient ruins, enhance your experience by staying at Hotel de L'Anglais. It really made our stay.

Una sistemazione eccezionale appena fuori dal centro storico di Arles… l’arena dista 5 minuti a piedi. La casa è un vecchio hotel particulier tipicamente francese, ristrutturato dai proprietari con un gusto raffinato. Gli spazi comuni sono meravigliosi, con musica classica o jazz di sottofondo.. La camera semplice, ma ampia ed elegante. Il letto comodissimo, il bagno grande con una doccia enorme. La colazione è tradizionale e la qualità dei prodotti ovviamente superiore, incluse alcune torte fatte in casa. Un ottimo caffè portoghese di cui ho abusato… Per finire, i due proprietari sono gentili e pieni di attenzioni e di consigli. In sintesi, non ho parole per descrivere l’altissima qualità che abbiamo sperimentato durante il nostro soggiorno. Vale assolutamente la pena di andarci e di usarlo come base per visitare la regione.

Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Etablissement très propres. Petit déjeuner correct. Amabilité des hôtes , de très bons conseils dans le choix de restaurants. Très agréable séjour. Nous y retournerons.

This is a well located property in a large classical home close to central Arles. We had a large well furnished room with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and had a full size shower. The property had a large library available to guests. The small landscaped back yard with a plunge pool was very pleasant for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The owner was very helpful and made our stay more enjoyable.

A convenient location, a quiet room and an marvelous innkeeper. Pierrick takes very good care of guests and the hotel. Merci! Our room was comfy, roomy and quiet. Every day he managed to add a nice touch to cleaning while we were out. He is interested in and conversant with music and the arts. Good advice on museums and meals. Breakfast had varied and tasty offerings and on one day he was able to customize. Easy walk to old Arles, the Saturday market and easy drive to highways out of town. Easy temporary parking in front and valet service to a next door lot. A must-stay hotel. He speaks better English than he admits.

This newly renovated guest house is in a great location. It is just outside the medieval wall and very close to Luma Arles. Filipe and Pierrick are great hosts. My room was large simply decorated and very clean. Large bathroom with shower. Windows onto the back courtyard. Breakfast is standard continental but all very good quality and fresh. Very helpful on things to do and places to eat. Arles is a very interesting city. Roman ruins , medieval walls and the Rhone.

Tout était parfait, notre chambre aux teintes reposantes et à la literie si confortable, le petit-déjeuner copieux et varié, la maison élégante et chaleureuse à la fois, l’emplacement proche du Luma et à deux pas du centre…Pierrick et Filipe toujours disponibles, souriants et pleins de bons conseils ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable!

Hôtes très accueillants et chaleureux, qui ont fait de notre séjour un petit moment hors du temps. La maison est ravissante, est idéalement située. Décoration très soignée. Chambre spacieuse, et bonne literie. Le jardin cosy, avec piscine . Très bon petit déjeuner avec gâteaux maison ! Possibilité de parking

We loved staying here. Filipe and Pierrick were perfect hosts, always ready with recommendations and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast selection was excellent and the whole place radiates style and sophistication. The art, books, music and furniture are clearly chosen with such care and this was a stunning place to stay. Perfectly situated for the centre of Arles, particularly the Saturday market, and the outdoor pool and seating area and air conditioned rooms were a real bonus during the hot days. I would come back in a heartbeat and will be recommending to all my friends. Can’t rate it highly enough.
