Gornaya Roza

We love this place and come here already for the 3rd time! It's such a wonderful spot, you feel like visiting friends&family, pure relaxation surrounded by mountains and nature. 1. Location A bit away from the busy and dusty main street on the foot of the mountains (you can start some hikes very close behind the house). Very good views from the rooms on the mountain panorama. Walking distance to main street. 2. Hotel & Grounds In our opinion the nicest and most tastefully created place in town. Beautiful grounds, garden with barbecue option, a little stream flows through the garden, large covered terrace to enjoy breakfast, lunches/dinners or just sit and read, smoke a shisha or relax, play games etc. (beautiful seasonal decoration!), breakfast hall also with a view on the mountains, swings in the garden, etc. There is also a stage for events and evenings they have movies playing! 3. Rooms Lots of rooms and categories to choose from. We can highly recommend the family apartment on the top floor of the old building, but also stayed in the delux room in the new wing with, that is a corner room that comes with a living room and extra bedroom and a balcony with mountain view. Our room had a small fridge and tea station, towels, bathrobes, shampoo/body soap. Comfortable bed and linens! Very comfortable and perfect to relax! 4. Breakfast Very good breakfast with also fresh baked treats every day. Local jams and hand-picked mountain tea. Cold cuts, warm parts (grechka/eggs), vegetables, cereals... 5. Restaurant Gornaya Roza also has it's own restaurant for guests and this is a really special treat! There is a wide selection of international, Russian and local cuisine, VERY fair prices (compared to any other places in town and with that quality), and everything tastes just amazing (we tried a good amount of different items on the menu and loved everything). It's hard to believe with the amount of dishes offered they are hardly out of anything, everything tastes home-made, fresh and so good. I also personally suggest to try the lava cake, the traditional Karachay-Cherkessian dishes and the Turkish coffee! 6. Service It's a family run masterpiece, with top service. From the cleaning personnel to management everyone is extremely professional, friendly and well organized - something that in large top hotel chains you sometimes cannot find. This place is one of those you would come back to, not only for the mountains, nature and village itself, but just to enjoy and relax in the hotel! I would highly recommend this place to families, as well as couples and groups of friends. This matches really all type of needs you can have when visiting Arkhyz. If you want to book tours, Anzor (manager) will also assist with finding yourself a ride or tour. We love this place so much and we will definitely come back!

Горная Роза навсегда в моем сердце! Останавливались в этом отеле уже 3 раза. Номера всегда чистые, с невероятным видом на горы. В кафе при отеле самые вкусные хычины в Архызе. Персонал очень приятный, постоянно помогают с экскурсиями.А виды из окна на горы просто покорили моё сердце 💔❤️‍🩹Всем советую!

Я был в полном восторге от пребывания в этом отеле! Номера очень уютные и чистые, с удобными кроватями и потрясающим видом на окрестности. Персонал невероятно дружелюбный и всегда готов помочь с любыми вопросами. Завтрак был разнообразным и вкусным, особенно понравились свежевыпеченные булочки. Расположение отеля также отличное — недалеко от центра, но при этом в тихом месте, где можно отдохнуть от городской суеты. Обязательно вернусь сюда снова и порекомендую друзьям!
