Maria’s apartments Kefalonia.
Comfortable rooms. We had a patio with fabulous sunset views. Need a car as the walk uphill can be taxing in the heat. Plenty of room for parking. Staff at the sister hotel were helpful. The Greek night was fun.
The local beach Makris Gialos was beautiful. Such clear water. Had a wonderful time exploring the island.

Olive Garden Apartments in Lassi are excellent in every way. George and Denise are beyond fabulous with their Greek hospitality. They provide wonderful snacks, meals and lovely drinks. They are a great team and can’t do enough for their guests. We stayed for 10 days from 2 October 2024 in a 2 bedroom duplex apartment number 25, which is the furthest apartment on the complex. Very quiet and relaxing. The views were wonderful and it was lovely sitting on one of the two huge balconies to have breakfast or a nightcap at the end of the day. The apartment was very spacious and cleaned every other day. We have stayed here on many occasions and are looking forward to returning in May 2025.

We stayed for one week in duplex no 21. It was really lovely, a view to die for. just loved sitting watching the crews ships sailing by and amazing sunsets. The rooms are very clean, bedding and towels just how i like to see them. Great fridge freezer. Pool area great comfy sun beds. We got off to a rocky, start my brother jumped in the pool after 9pm. wrong thing to do i know. He did apologise to the owner next morning, and he got a stern telling off. He did not do it again. Never the less we had a super time. George and Denise work very well together. The food is very good. George cooked us a special meal on our last night. It was fabulous, Thank you George and to all the bar staff.

We visited for 10 days mid September, after a chaotic 5 years we just wanted some peace and relaxation. Plus points were - A fantastic location overlooking the resort. Very peaceful, absolutely zero traffic noise. Fantastic pool area, lots of sunbeds and fixed umbrellas. Bar area really spacious and bar staff absolutely amazing, the food was very good and reasonably priced compared to the resort. The negatives, only minor issues really - The studios were fairly basic though clean and everything seemed to work (sort of), lovely shower. A bit of a lack of privacy with only a small partition between rooms. The aircon was inconsistent, it was set by the manager so you couldn't change the setting. We didn't really take to Lassi especially at night time, lots of people piling out of hotels. We felt like a bit of a commodity during our visits to various tavernas, not the Old School Greece we crave for. In summary though we did have a lovely relaxing time, the complex is very well run and organised and the staff can not do enough for you. Big mention to George, Denise and Fotina (hopefully this is the right spelling).

When we arrived just less than 30 mins from airport, my husband said what have you done! Faded green pvc windows & doors unpainted low wall vista , no air con (because the owner had gone to bed) our flight had been delayed, which is usual apparently for Kefalonia according to everyone we spoke to. Who all had been at lest a few times to the island. But after a really bad nights sleep we woke to a newly furnished kitchen/bathroom everything you need .beautiful tea on our terrace with an amazing view (we bought teabags & thanks to the fabulous George the night before gave us milk ) we paid for our air con & tax which €115 for 12 nights. That was the bad here’s the good.!!! Everything else.!!! Food,(cooked by George’s sister)really amazing we had literally everything on the menu though out the weeks from breakfast to tea , frozen margaritas, all cocktails, Sunsets , service.,the pool,(beautifully looked after by George’s father ) the bar mostly served by Denise Georges wife & her mate fafina??? Probably got that so wrong Sorry 😢 the short distance to beaches , Taverna & bars. We don’t normally do a 3 star but trip advisor lead us here & thank you for that Best holiday ever This 3 star should be a 4 but who cares not I !! We”ll be back with the fam 😜

Had a wonderful week at this hotel. We had an amazing front view over the beaches and the room whilst small was typically Greek and adequate for what we needed. We were delayed when arrived but the lovely bar staff made us some chips at 11.30pm at night despite being close to finishing their shift and we were very grateful for this simple snack after a long day travelling and delays. The air con not having the control to adjust the temperature yourself was something I’ve never experienced before and was a bit of an annoyance as in the middle of the night it could get quite cold but you’d need it at the colder temp during the evening. I am aware at reception you could ask someone to change the temp but by the time we would have changed it we would then need to make it cooler again another time. Just a feedback that was one of the only sort of irking things about the stay really. Yes there’s the hill the walk down was fine in the morning the way up we just got a taxi for €7 a time but could have walked it was just being lazy and the view was so worth it There wasn’t a late checkout ability but there was good shower rooms to use with all toiletries provided so this wasn’t so bad A lovely stay on a good central area to the night street for restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend and glad we visited.

Great food, relaxing atmosphere and with Fotini, Denise, George and Anna looking after you all it's a fantastic place to be. It feels like visiting family. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in kefalonia. The sunset is a wonder to behold.

We are a family of four, two boys, 18 & 15. Olive Garden is the perfect location as a base to explore Lassi and Argostoli if you wish to stay local. Hire a car and the rest of the Island and Ithaca are within easy reach. The accommodation was excellent, clean and well maintained. We had a two bedroom apartment, two up, two down arrangement which gave us two balconies overlooking the sea for amazing Sunsets. The Pool area and bar are excellent. If you wish to stay by the poolside, all meals, Breakfast through to Evening meal are well presented, well portioned and very reasonably priced compared to other places. Due to its elevated position it’s understandable that visitors find it quite hard going back up the hill in the heat after a hard days work at the beach. It’s certainly easier after a couple of Mythos and meal at one of the local Tavernas. Fresh express supermarket do a free delivery for your first big shop however would recommend going to Argostoli and paying €8 for a Taxi back. Please do walk over the hill into Argostoli, you won’t be disappointed. Huge shout out to George and his team behind the bar, if anything, those guys made our stay most memorable, particularly for our boys. Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri 😍
