Hotel Papillon

Excellent hotel. Very helpful, friendly staff. Clean, modern rooms. Lovely pool area. Good breakfast. Very good location, central to the resort. Highly recommended. What more is there to say. Stupid requirement to ose a minimum of 200 characters.

Επισκεφθηκαμε το ξενοδοχείο Papillon για λίγες ημέρες και η εμπειρία μας ήταν φανταστική. Το δωμάτιο που μείναμε, ήταν πάντα πολύ καθαρο και τα κρεβάτια πολύ άνετα. Ο χώρος της υποδοχής ήταν πολύ προσεγμένος και οι υπάλληλοι της ρεσεψιόν ευχάριστοι και πάντα στην διάθεσή μας για παροχή πληροφοριών για το νησί. Ο χώρος της πισίνας πολύ προσεγμένος με αρκετές ξαπλώστρες στις οποίες μπορείς να απολαύσεις υπέροχα ποτά και φαγητό από το εστιατόριο του ξενοδοχείου. Η πισίνα πολύ καθαρή και αρκετά μεγάλη. Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο με πολλές επιλογές, με φρέσκα προϊόντα για όλες τις προτιμήσεις! Η κοπέλα που εξυπηρετούσε στο πρωινό και στο μπαρ της πισίνας ήταν ευγενεστατη και πάντα πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει με τον καλύτερο τρόπο! Όλο το προσωπικό ήταν εξυπηρετικό, ευγενικό και με χαμόγελο. Συγχαρητήρια στους ιδιοκτήτες για το υπέροχο ξενοδοχείο που έχουν στήσει και την επιλογή του προσωπικού τους! Θα επιστρέψουμε σίγουρα στο μέλλον!!

I recently stayed one week in Papillon in Sept-Oct 2024. It is centrally located and, in many ways, a good hotel. However, there is one bad downside: The reception closes at 23.30 and after that, there was no effective night watch organised by the hotel management. Even though Papillon is in many reviews said to be a peaceful and silent hotel, two of my seven nights got spoiled by noisy night parties held on a nearby room’s balcony. As the hotel did not interfere, these parties certainly spoiled the nights of sleep of not only me but several others, too. I will not go back to this hotel and cannot advise others to go there either.

Nice hotel in the busiest part of argassi, even though it's situated in the heart of the town the noise is minimal. The rooms are spotless and modern ,beds really comfortable. The aircon is very good and free. We stayed in room 426 on the first floor , the balcony is narrow and not the best but with nice view of the pool which got quite busy even though it's late September. Breakfast is just ok , no brown sauce though. Reception is great and resolved all our issues without hesitation. If your staying in Argassi on a bit of a budget I'd recommend Papillion, fantastic pool and bar area.

We have stayed in the lovely village of Agassi half a dozen times over the past few years and will continue to return in the future as it ticks all of our boxes. We divide our visits between all inclusive and B&B, based on price and availability . Our 'go to' all inclusive is awesome , but the price fluctuates and if we use this hotel there is little motivation to leave the premises for the whole holiday as the food and facilities are excellent. On this occasion we decided to go B&B and selected the Papillion based on its Trop advisor ratings and photographs. There was also a significant price advantage over other similar B&B hotels in the same area. OK lets divide this into positives and negative's: Positives: -The rooms are modern and well cleaned with overall good facilities in them. -The wi-fi in the rooms & pool area is excellent and free! (good enough to stream TV from a fire stick) -The overall layout and positioning of the hotel is excellent with good access to the local restaurants and facilities. -The breakfast is excellent with a good hot and cold selection which is regularly topped up and capped off with an excellent toast machine which generates perfect toast in a record time. This is way more than just a continental buffet and is enough to set you up for the day. -The prices for drinks during your stay both for meals and by the pool are competitive with the local restaurants and not overpriced. -The pool area is excellently maintained, cleaned & tidied during the day with food served to your sun lounger if required. -The staff are happy and efficient, all adding to the experience. although the lovely young lady who serves at breakfast and during the day in the bar should smile more. She is quick & efficient but never looks happy (unless her little girl is brought to visit then the smiles are difficult to miss lol) Now to the negatives... Not much to say here, but in order to give balance I shall!! -The aircon is an extra charge as is the safe, both of which are a necessity I feel, but that is more of an annoyance than anything else and is offset by the the initial excellent price. -Storage in the room is poor with no hanging space for long items like dresses and very limited draw space. To summarise... we love this hotel and (almost) everything about it, and will definitely be returning when time allows us.

Super hotel. Great rooms with everything one would expect. The pool and bar area was lovely. Slight downsides - the breakfast was a little too 'British' and a bit samey. I had entirely forgotten the habit of my country-people of going to the pool before the day had started to 'reserve' loungers. It is a horrible habit and does not paint us in a good light. Other than that, we loved it!
