When I checked in, I was told(not given an option) to pay a deposit for "incidentals". No problem, I did so. The amount they asked me to pay as deposit, wasn't enough to cover even a meal, so we ended up paying cash for all meals, drinks etc. (one cannot charge anything to the room). When I left, they could not refund me, because I had used Apple Pay (a fact they omitted to mention when I paid). It's about a month later, several emails and phone calls, and still haven't received my refund, only promises. Ive spent more time and effort now, than the deposit is worth - Southern Sun - you can keep it.
