"The location is decent as it’s right beside Centraal station but that comes with its pitfalls - security is really weak there and when walking to our floor we had to step over one passed out homeless (?) guy on the stairs and there was another guy just being shady also in the stairwell so we left immediately and went home (NL). Perhaps if I’d taken the lift and gone straight to my room that was ignorance would be bliss and this would have a higher rating. But such lax security on what characters are coming into the hotel meant I couldn’t feel safe sleeping there with my young daughter so we left. I’ve stayed in other A&O hostels and think they great but don’t let ********** into the building please!"

"Entering the premises the hotel looks really nice, beautiful old building though also somewhat empty and desolate. Perfectly situated for visits to the city center. But as we live in Antwerp and close by we didn’t book a room but the wellness which they also do promote separate from a stay in the hotel. At first glance it looked really nice but I think we have never been this disappointed in a wellness and definitely not for this price. In fact they only have a small sauna and an even smaller Turkish steam bath. A few chairs next to that where we could sit a little while. The shower room was chilly, almost cold and the lights switched off every few minutes. There is no conditioner and a coffee and soft drink at a surplus (tea, water and some fruits for free) This is an oké place as an amenity when staying in the hotel but not to rent separately as a ‘wellness’. We expected a lot, came home disappointed. Sadly on our daughters’ 30th birthday"

Only minus for me was the Wi-Fi. You have to chose between Free and paying Wi-Fi, but the free Wi-Fi was not even enough to reply my e-mails... Feels a bit like false advertising to say Wi-Fi is included."

"We were traveling by car as a couple. The hotel has free parking. The rooms and beds are larger than those of similar hotels in Europe. The facilities are newer, with coffee machines, kettles and ironing boards, which are all what travelers need. It is a 15-minute drive to the old town attractions, and we visited for four hours. Parking cost 17 euros."

Pidä huolta ja huolehtii. Neljä ylellistä ja tilavaa sviittiä. Uima-altaat ja spa, upea sisäpuisto, oasis, joka heti otti kaupungin sydämestä. Liivi on mahtava, samoin kylpyhuoneet. Avaruudet ovat sumuisia. Kaikki täällä on suunniteltu ylitoimenpide, joka on tietenkin kunnianhimoinen isäntämme. Palvelu korkealaatuinen ravitsemus rauhallisissa ja absoluuttisessa rauhallisuudessa. Sinun pitäisi, joskus kokeilla ravintola; kokemus aamiaista ja ’show on the tea time’ ovat erittäin vakuuttavia (ja tuotteet, erittäin korkealaatuinen). Yksi hyvin suuri talo, joka na noin noin ihailla hotellissa ******."

"What seemed to be a promising stay was a real disapointment, as the location bluntly cancelled the booking the day before. They blaimed it on a "double booking", although we had been communicating with them in the last month. Also, they took no responsability and just said it was "not their fault". Did not even have the smarts to offer some kind of compensation to show goodwill or help find a new place to stay. I would not trust this venue! A real shame."
