Great place to stay, all staff are very welcoming and warming. Very family owned feel to the place, breakfast is really good. Big spacious rooms, very good price, very close to the distillery and the walk by the river is a must. Went for a drink at their local pub bluebell and that was fab. Will definitely return!

We booked at short notice to break up our journey to St Andrews and booked the last 2 rooms available- 2 family rooms. On arrival we were met by the owner and after the usual introductions we were shown to our rooms. The first room was on the ground floor and actually had room for 4 guests although there was only 2 of us staying in that room. There was plenty of space and the shower room was plenty big enough. The other room we had booked was on the first floor and could accommodate 5 guests, again there was only 2 of us staying in that room. The younger ones in our group were please to see that the room had a PlayStation and games. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night here - the rooms were clean and well equipped, plenty of towels in the en-suites. Also we’re we’re pleasantly surprised to be offered complimentary toast and tea/coffee the morning of our departure. Would recommend a stay at Rowanbank Guesthouse

We stayed overnight on the way to catch the morning ferry from Stranraer .. everything about this guesthouse was absolutely fab. The owners were more than accommodating regarding our late arrival - we were sent a key code to access our room - which was really lovely! The room was spacious, the bed was comfy - there was also a really lovely sofa area to relax and have a cup of tea after our long journey! My only regret is that we had to leave at the crack of dawn, and therefore didn't have more time to enjoy the surroundings (or the breakfast) - I would highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely be staying there again!!

Me and our family stayed here for one night, 11 of us in total. Couldn't ask for nicer people, spotless clean, and a nice breakfast. We were there to scatter our Nannas ashes but will now be making this a yearly visit.

This b&b is a must visit! We stayed for one night one night to break our travel up to the Scottish highlands. we were upgraded free for charge on arrival as it was mid week and quiet. Our room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable!! We brought our dog and the hotel is very very dog friendly! They had a court yard to take your dog out which is very handy! Now for the best part the breakfast…. Outstanding value for money absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back! Laura, Brett and River x

Stayed 1 night in Superior double, lovely big room with sofa. Powerful shower, comfortable bed, friendly staff and great cooked breakfast. Near train station and town centre, plenty on street parking available. Will stay here again if in the area.
