Hotel Allure arvostelua

I had beg bugs in room 205. It took me a while to realise this as I didn't expect it at all! And because I was very busy and distracted with a work conference, and initially thought they were gnat bites or something. But after every night I'd have more bites on my hands, shoulders, arms and back. On the 4th day I reported this, and this is the point where I can either excuse the hotel as one of those rare events, or make you guys aware of a negligent place. Unfortunately, I'm going for the latter. They initially dismissed it it as just mosquito bites. So I explained that I've been bitten by both, and this was clearly bedbugs. I also pointed out that there were doctors in my conference who confirmed it was bedbugs. They then provisionally offered me a day's refund, which they later retracted. I asked for them to change my room. They refused. I didn't have the time, especially with the conference ongoing, to change hotels. I at least asked for bags to seal up my clothes so I didn't carry the bedbugs home, or  they wouldn't spread when I got home. They didn't even provide this! On the last day, I thought they would give me a refund for most of my 6 day stay, given it had been miserable, with a lot of pain and itching (I had about 30 bites by this point). They refused to give me any refund, but said they'd be in touch with me 3 days later to update me on the exterminator results, and possibly refund me then. They never contacted me. I feel very sorry for the next person who has room 205, and hope they don't take too long to deal with this. I'm happy to provide photo proof of the various bites I received so you can judge for yourself (though I'm certain it was bedbugs). Aside from this, the room was very run down and stained (see photos), with a light that half worked, and a bed board that had come loose. And the wifi kept failing. The worst place I've visited for over 100 Euros a night.

Small, clean hotel, very friendly staff. Everything was uncomplicated. Very good for a short stay of only a few days. Transport from Amsterdam Centraal is very good via Metro (only a few minutes). Also very close to one of the stops of the hop on hop off busses. If you don't need much space or extras I would definitely recommend!

La habitacion que nos dieron era en un sotano que estaba por debajo de la calle, desde la habitacion se veian los pies de las personas, caro por la habitacion designada, adems sorpresa el primer dia no no hicieron ni la cama ni el lavabo, hicimos la reclamacion pertinente y el dia siguiente la arreglaron. Otro punto la calefacción dificil de regular pues el regulador estaba detras de un armario y era dificil de acceder.

Positiv: sehr nah an Tram/Metro und Supermarkt Das weniger schöne: sehr abgewohnt, Teppichboden nicht gereinigt, Staub auf den Ablageflächen, ausser Handtuchwechsel keine tägliche Reinigung, der Aufzug war defekt und scheint auch schon länger diesen Zustand zu haben. Das Treppenhaus ist sehr eng und steil was das Koffertragen erschwert. Das Fenster lies sich nicht schließen, keine Steckdose im Badezimmer. Duschkabine ist sehr eng. Zimmer zur Strasse extrem laut, sollte beachtet werden. Für den Preis hätte ich wenigstens Sauberkeit erwartet

My niece and I stayed at the Hotel Allure April 21-24. The staff were very nice and the hotel is conveniently located. BUT, my niece and I discovered that they have had an infestation of bedbugs since 2024, and have not fixed this problem? Absolutely unacceptable and preventable! Both my niece and I are bitten and now we must clean and disinfect everything in our own homes, plus dealing with the bites. Do NOT stay at this hotel right now.

Very clean and comfortable - 20 minute walk and you’re in the centre of amsterdam

Stayed with a partner. Room was in the basement so I’m sure the second floor rooms may have been nicer but this felt very much like a cruise ship room. Nothing terribly wrong with it. Some black mould noted in the bathroom. But it was in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance of some museums and trams

Camera pulita funzionale . Letto comodo , bagno pulito , balconato. Centro città . Unico neo al check in insistevano di non aver pagato … pessima professionalità

Ok for a short stay The reseptionist who met us had a bit of an attitude, not the best welcome. The room was ok, but it's not new and fresh. Cleaning could be better, there was hairs in the shower and dirt in the shelves in the dressers. Rooms are not soundproof, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. Very close to metro station, so easly acessible to/from the central station.

Hotel Allure relación costo-beneficio está bien Es un hotel muy básico. Limpieza bien, desayuno aceptable (no incluido), habitación muy pequeña, 3k colchón no muy confortable. Lo mejor son los recepcionistas muy amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y la ubicación con muy fácil acceso a transporte público y llegada fácil a lugares de interés.

Gut gelegenes Hotel nahe Uni Das Hotel war fuer uns guenstig gelegen und hat insgesamt guten Verkehrsanschluss. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind zweckmaessig. In Zimmer 208 lies sich allerdings die Badezimmertuer nur schwer oeffnen weil der Teppich zu hoch liegt. Koennte man aendern.

Cozy spot near city center Great location! Close to the main attractions but also in a quiet neighborhood. You can either walk to the center of the city or take the tram or metro just a few short stops. Rooms are small and older but clean and perfect for a weekend trip.

Excellent Stay In Amsterdam We were very lucky to find the Hotel Allure. We are traveling with bicycles and need secure bike parking. The Allure has a lovely garden where we were able to secure our bikes. We had a garden room which was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The tram is right outside the front door and there are many restaurants nearby.

Good location + price Very good location, room was clean and had everything you need. We were in a basement room which overlooked the courtyard at the back of the property. Mattress and pillows weren't very comfortable, and the shower tray seemed to fill up quite quickly when showering. Overall, pretty good for the price.
