Really disappointed with owner. This was NOT a B&B, but merely a "rent a room." Virtually no contact from owner, husband did try to fix the heat but froze 2 nights with NO heat. No assistance from Mercedes for directions, recommendations, or suggestions. There was a stabbing, with serious injuries in Dam Square on the first day I was there and no contact from owner to ensure I was safe! Breakfast was "down the street and around the corner." For me this was a disappointment and not a B&B as we know it. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to stay.

Мы провели пять незабываемых дней в Mercedes B&B . Прекрасные ,уютные, чистые апартаменты, приветливая очень приятная хозяйка Изабель. Когда узнала, что у меня день рождение, подарила букет. Всё очень близко, живем в самом центре. Большое спасибо Изабель за гостеприимство. Очень очень советую.

Stayed with Isabel for 4 nights on our way to a river cruise in France. The location was excellent, walking distance to Dam Square or the Central Station in a quiet spot, canal-side. Very clean, great bed, lots of hot water, well equipped little kitchen w/ frig, and very close to many choice eateries and a bargain laundry. Owners were very warm and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

This was a first time stay in Amsterdam and the accommodations at the Mercedes Bed and Breakfast were perfect for our time there. The location is walking distance from the train station and all of the major attractions, along with great restaurants close by. Isabel and Leonard were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond helping when one us contracted a case of swimmers itch. We will certainly stay here when we return to Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this BnB, and would gladly visit again! The location made our stay very relaxing as we could reach everything we had planned for but were able to go back to the apartment in between times. The bed is very comfortable and the nicest thing is the charm of the place - it's an old building that's been modernized for comfort but hasn't lost its character. Isabel is a wonderful host!

Wonderful stay! Isabel welcomed us once we informed her that we checked in and she was so helpful and informative answering any questions, arranging a taxi for us and recommending place to eat and how to get there. It was very comforting to know we had her there in a country where we knew no one! The place was just as advertised and very comfortable. The space is well utilized, providing everything you could think of needing. The bottle of wine, sparkling water and nespresso were especially nice. The location is perfect as it’s close enough to all the tourist things but not in the busy area itself. Would definitely stay there again.

Terrific location-- a quiet residential street steps away from the Brouwersgracht and a 10 minute walk to the Centraal station. Not in a tourist area! Private studio room has comfy king equivalent bed, galley with utensils etc. Loved the windows, live greenery and colorful art. Great local restaurants like Balraj, Ducca Due and Rosereyn eet cafe on nearby Haarlemerdijk/ straat. The owner is very pleasant and respondsive. Book well in advance. I'd come again. Note: rooms are up the traditional narrow turning staircase . Other room faces street. The rooms are modernized and very clean. Also I would skip including "breakfast" at nearby tiny cafe if you are staying for longer than a few days. Also opens late ( 8:30) if you like an early start.

Il posto è veramente al centro del mondo, dovreste stare un anno prima di mangiare in tutti i locali nelle vicinanze! Stanza molto piccola (non si gira attorno al letto) ma completa di tutto : dal frigo al micoronde, posate, ferro da stiro, etc...non manca niente). Unica grossa pecca (non so se sia uso in Olanda) non fanno pulizie giornaliere nè in camera, nè in bagno. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato 6 asciugamani da doccia (avevamo prenotato per 5 notti), per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo di più. Ammetto che non ho letto attentamente le caratteristiche del locale (magari era specificato). La colazione non si svolge nello stesso posto ma ci si deve recare in un bar a poche minuti; colazione fissa non a buffet, non che pretendessi quantità esagerate, però le quantitò erano predefinite (almeno le bevande calde potevano essere più di una). Il B&B è tutto in automatico, i proprietari vivono sopra ma si vedono (e sentono) molto poco. Avrei dato una valutazione più alta ma per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo di più.

All you can ever need in the heart of Amsterdam. Mercedes bed and breakfast was incredibly cozy and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the attention to detail was AMAZING! I had my transport from the airport arranged for and paid for me. Everything was top tier. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Amsterdam.
