Hotel PR Residency Amritsar

Please do not stay at this hotel! The pictures are not a reflection of what they promise. The establishment is dirty, old, in serious need of repair. My bed looked like it had just been made up from the previous guest, it wasn’t ironed or neat. There are tears in the bedding, it is also dirty. There is a lot of filth in the room. There is so much that is broken, a sofa that has a huge tear in it, broken table, broken fridge (which is listed as an amenity), broken glass between the two areas, broken table leg. I chose breakfast and was offered a limited option to eat in my room. Seems like there is no restaurant available. The toilet seat was broken and had an awful smell in the early hours of the morning. I arrived late and had to stay over night and left the next day. During this time there was a cigarette butt with ash on the floor outside my door and no one bothered to clean it up. Due to this, I left the hotel 5 days earlier. The hotel has refused to reimburse me on the basis of the above, despite their pictures not being an accurate reflection. During my time here, the electricity and WiFi continued to go on and off intermittently. The price to stay is similar to mid to high end hotels but it’s definitely not comparable. It’s old, worn down and in serious need of repair!

It was terrible experience.they should declare it a lodge not a hotel. Woods are coming out of furniture.not clean.very old and in a very bad shape furniture.I booked executive rooms and I got feeling that I am like in a very cheap lodge.Very bad smell coming out of rooms and bed. They gave a name mini bar to an uncleaned fridge which is alos in terrible shape and an empty whisky bottle was still there. Staff was cooperative.A guy name satnam was helpful as AC was not working in one of the room and he helped me to change the room.But if property requires renovation then better to do it before giving it to clients. Worst experience I ever had. It is not a hotel .It is lodge or I got feeling that I am sleeping in a room surrounded by store rooms. Such a bad experience to stay here.There is no option of negative otherwise would love to give it.
